#8Sunday #SexySnippets #WeekendWritingWarriors #paranormal #Guardians #Sins #Sloth

Happy Sunday, guys!

I'm still toiling at revisions for this story. Thanks for the encouragement! It's much needed, specially now that I've started work again after my summer holidays.

In today's snippet, I'm continuing with Seamus and Kaila.

Some of you have asked what their relationship was and that's precisely one of the edits I'm working on as to make it clearer from the beginning. Essentially, they are mates, but Seamus messed things up pretty badly and Kaila decided to stay as far from him as possible.

Let's recap: Kaila is in front of Sloth's (a Sin lord) door because she needs to access into his lair to save her sister. She was about to go in when she was interrupted by Seamus, a Guardian. They've known each other for years and he calls her babe even though she hates it. In the last snippet, he reminded her that the rules state that she can't be there and she cannot go into the Sin's nest. He's now physically holding her to avoid her entrance into Sloth's lair.

This snippet has been majorly edited to keep to guidelines.

She had to calm down and think of a way to get rid of him. What could she possibly do to be rid of Seamus? Immediately the thought entered her mind and wouldn’t leave.

Give into him.

Her nipples hardened at the thought and cream coated her panties. She adamantly refused. She didn’t have time for this. She had to save her sister before she succumbed deeper into despair and into Sloth’s lair.

“You know, there is no way in heaven or hell that you’re going to go in there without telling me first why you so desperately need to enter," Seamus voice was hoarse as he whispered in her ear. "I can help you, Kaila.”

  1. It doesn't sound like she's getting rid of him anytime soon. Might as well receive his help.

  2. It seems they both have unfinished business -- or at least feelings -- for each other.

  11. Oh, that repressed desire isn't too far under the surface, is it? I wonder why she doesn't admit why she's there.
