He parted the crowd like some kind of god -- #WeekendWritingWarriors and #SexySnippets from Moon Point2 #shifters #paranormal #erotic #romance #mm #LGBT

Happy Sunday, lovelies!

You'll have to excuse me if there are any typos as I'm setting this up at 2 o'clock in the morning and half asleep. LOL

Anyhow, I'm sharing a snippet which continues off from last week's.

Have a lovely day!

Alkaline.

He’d never been formally introduced to the lion shifter, but he knew him from sight. He had to. One didn’t manage a bar in one of the seediest neighborhoods of the city without knowing the local gangs. Besides, Alkaline wasn’t exactly easy to miss. At six foot five, with shoulder length red-blond hair, matching beard, and slightly tanned skin, he stood out wherever he went.
Lee watched him move. His cock twitched. There was nothing submissive about the male specimen coming in his direction, parting the crowd like some kind of god. Alkaline exuded power, force, unbridled passion.

Game on -- #WeekendWritingWarriors and #SexySnippets from Moon Point2 #shifters #paranormal #erotic #romance #mm #LGBT

Happy Sunday, lovelies!

Today I'm sharing a snippet from my current WIP, Moon Point2.

If you have read Alpha's Sunshine (Moon Point), in the Evernight Publishing anthology, Owned by the Alpha, today's character might sound familiar.

Enjoy and have a lovely day!

Lee glanced around. The place was packed with both men and women, tall, short, lean, fit, curvy, sexy. People dancing, chatting, drinking and having a good time. He caught the eye of a guy with dark puppy eyes and grinned. The stranger looked away, then back at him, a small smile playing on his lips. Game on. Lee started to make his way toward him when a shiver raced across his spine. The top of his ears tingled. His puma prodded him in the chest. Lee spun and his heart froze, and then jolted, pounding frantically.

All I need is your consent.-- #midweektease from Alpha's Sunshine (Owned by the Alpha anthology) #shifters #paranormal #erotic #romance @Evernightpub

Happy Hump Day, lovelies!

Today, I'm sharing another snippet from my story, Alpha's Sunshine, from the just released Evernight Publishing anthology, Owned by the Alpha.

Today, I went for another sexy tease between our characters. Enjoy!

“When we’re together I’ll only ever have eyes for you, May.”
May shivered. The depth of his feelings showed through the blazing intensity in his gaze. This was more than lust. This connection ran deeper than blood. Sisu didn’t need to speak for her to see it. It
radiated from him.
“When we’re apart, I’ll only be thinking about you. Your taste,” he continued, brushing his lips over hers. She gasped when he nipped her bottom bow, tugging. Pent-up arousal shot through her
system.
“Your fragrance.” Sisu buried his face in her hair. A low moan of approval came from him, ricocheting straight to her core. He twisted and pushed her back against the mattress. Looming
over her, he slid his palm down the side of her breast, over the curve of her waist and hips, and rested there. Her legs parted of their own volition and his lips curved into a sinful smile.
“When I’m not at your side, I’ll be remembering the passion in your eyes and the heat between your legs.”
He cupped her sex, one of his digits worming its way beneath the elastic of her underwear.
“The way your body responds to me and only to me,” he rumbled, entering her with two fingers.
“Sisu,” May whispered.
He took possession of her mouth, pressing his tongue and demanding for more like a persistent sledgehammer. May curled her hands over his biceps. Her mind swam with emotions and thoughts,
but her body responded to Sisu like a fine-tuned instrument waiting to be played. They broke apart, gasping for air.
“Do you have any idea how hard you make me? How desperate?” he whispered in her ear. “You bring out the wolf in me,May. I’ve yearned to make you mine from the moment I saw you. All I need is your consent.”

He has never been this challenged.

Sisu doesn’t play games. When he desires something, he goes after it. This time he wants the woman named May. “I think I’d need to take a closer look.” -- #MidWeek Reine's Salvation (Alpha Protectors I) #romance #paranormal

Happy Hump Day, lovelies!

It's been extremely busy lately with the EDJ and writing (I'm working on two WIPs and I just got edits for Alpha's Protection II).

Since I got some edits, I figured I'd go back and showcase some snippets from Reine's Salvation (Alpha Protectors I).

 Enjoy!

In today's snippet, we're having a glimpse of some flirty action...

Reine cleared his throat. “I haven’t been out much.”

“Only to the bar, eh?”

Mystique laughed. Her gaze dropped and her tongue darted out to lick her lips. Damn it. He couldn’t be sure if it was a nervous gesture, but the movement made him think of other things she could lick.

“Yeah. The bar has its beauty.” He blatantly stared at her.

Mystique blushed. Her tongue went out for its little excursion over her lips again.

Reine bit back a groan. It had definitely been too long since he’d been deep in between a woman’s legs.
“The town has some nice little shops, but the best parts of Lance are the hiking trails.”

“Really?” Reine leaned forward in his chair. Mystique’s eyes widened. She probably thought he was crazy. After all, he’d been snapping at her one moment, and now he was flirting with her. Fuck, even he thought he’d gone insane.

“Yes.” She licked her lips again, causing the stirring in his loins to grow. How would it feel to have her mouth around his cock? To thread his fingers in her hair while she blew him? His balls began to ache.

“The best one is the one that leads to the old manor at the top,” she said.

“Why?”

“It has some really nice views.”

“I already have nice views here,” Reine said, settling his gaze on her.

Mystique gawked at him for an instant before recomposing herself. “Thank you, but those are better, I can assure you.”

“I can’t really compare,” Reine said. He smiled mischievously. “I think I’d need to take a closer look.” He moved so their knees were touching. To his delight, she didn’t recoil. He leaned forward. They were so close that all he had to do was move an inch and angle her head to kiss her. “What do you think, Mystique?” Lightly, he touched her arm. The goosebumps on her flesh were palpable. “Will you show me your views tonight?”

“I—” Her tongue darted out to wet her lips. Definitely a nervous habit that was bound to drive him mad. His mouth watered. He could hardly wait to feel its velvet touch on him.

Reine's Salvation (Alpha Protectors I)

He’s the kind of man her mother warned her to steer clear from...

Mystique is happy with her current life, but for years she's struggled on a path of self-destruction. She knows she shouldn't get involved with the brooding hunk at the bar, but how can she stay away when his sorrowful gaze is so compelling?

Reine has lost everything: his wife, his friends, his ability to fight, and his identity as an Alpha Protector. There's nothing left for him except a world of anger and bitterness. At least, that’s what he believes until he meets an intrepid waitress.

The attraction between them is immediate, but while Reine can’t let go of his past, Mystique is not willing to return to hers. With darkness constantly closing in, will they find a way to be together? Or, will Reine's behavior destroy their future?

She has avoided Seamus at all costs, but now they’re both trapped in hell and she has nowhere to run, except, maybe, into his arms.

Wednesday Brief: Your hump day dose of Flash Fiction

Welcome to Wednesday Brief!

You can read Clare and Mikelo's story from the beginning up at the top of the page by clicking on the tab that says Wednesday Brief (simply scroll down and you'll find each chapter labeled as Little Luna). If you only want to read last week's Brief then click Here.

The prompt I used was: Use the element of surprise.

Enjoy! And of course, don't forget to visit the rest of the Briefer's!

Little Luna (6)

“Clare.” Mikelo watched as surprise registered in Clare’s gaze. Her eyes widened, her breath visibly catching as he stepped into the shaft of moonlight filtering through the window. He paused and as if by command her frantic movements to escape, stopped.

“What, how—“

Mikelo waited as she collected her scrambled thoughts, her gaze darting around the room, searching in the shadows for his hiding place.

“How long have you been watching me?” Her voice wavered.

His gaze bore into hers and he watched amused as a fresh coat of pink tainted her cheeks. Evidence of her dream still clung to her, from the flush on her neck, to the rapid rise and fall of her chest, to the disarrayed locks. His gaze lowered, a slow smile spreading on his face as she hurried to press her thighs together and readjust her skirt.

“For quite some time, little Luna,” he finally replied, looking at her. “This is my bed chamber.”

“Oh.” Her gaze dropped to the floor, her hair tumbling over her face and hiding her features from him. He knew she was still coming to grips with the erotic dream. It was normal. The thought of comforting her appealed to him, but he kept himself at bay. She needed to accept the reality of things on her own terms, at her own pace. He frowned. Even, if that time was in truth very limited.

Abruptly, she lifted her head. Straightening her spine and squaring her shoulders, she met his gaze head on. He fought the impulse to laugh. There was the little fighter that had stumbled upon his world years ago.

“Where are we?”

“Raidrako, the land of the red sun, capital of the Feardrako kingdom.”

“Your home?”

“Yes.”

“Why am I here?”

Mikelo sighed. Just when he had started hoping.

“I know the bond, the promise, but surely, there must be a way to break it? I don’t belong here.”

“It’s a little too soon to know that, don’t you think, Clare?”

Standing, Clare took a step toward him and opened her arms dramatically, her blue gaze intense in her defiant glare.

“Look at me, Mikelo. Look- at –me.”

He raised his eyebrows and she pressed her lips together in outrage.

“Do I look like I belong here? Dressed in a pale pink suit dress and stockings, standing at the side of a four poster bed with furs, with furs!” she cried out, stomping her foot in frustration.

A part of Mikelo knew he shouldn’t move. He should just take her anger until it passed, but he couldn’t. The blood bond was stronger in his realm and he’d waited so long for her, so long. He yearned to take her into his arms and feel the warmth of her heat around his cock. He wanted to kiss her until her lips became red and swollen as the moon during a storm.

He took a step and immediately she dropped her arms, her eyes wide. Another step and her bravado failed her completely.

“Yes, you’re right Little Luna.” Another step and she was hitting the bed with the back of her knees.  “Your dress and stockings don’t belong here; a woman in my realm does not wear clothes like those. But you.” She fell into a sitting position with a surprised yelp. Mikelo towered over her. “You do.”

Placing the palm of his hand on her shoulder, he pushed gently. She fell back against the feather mattress without a sound of protest. Leaning into her, he placed his arms next to her head, holding his weight and caging her.

“You belong here, Clare. You belong here with me, naked on this bed, writhing under me night after night as I take you to the highest heights of pleasure you have ever experienced.”

Mikelo leaned closer, his lips inches away from her parted mouth.

“Your dream was nothing compared to the reality of what could be, little Luna.” Her gasp of surprise drowned in his mouth as he finally tasted paradise.

Untitled Chapter 3

Damian lowered his head to her face. He was inches away from her lips. Amanda knew she should do something to stop him but she couldn’t. She stood powerless to his masculine appeal. What’s more, she hated to admit it, but she wanted him to kiss her.

His lips were tantalizing and the heat from his body was intoxicating. Her breath hitched. She swallowed hard. This was not a good idea. He was her neighbor, her enemy, the one that didn’t let her read in peace. She put a restraining hand on his chest. He stopped, glancing into her eyes. The heat coming from him was scorching her hand, raising her awareness of what she was doing. She splayed her fingers, reveling on the feel of his smooth skin and the few scarce hairs that dusted his chest. His hand snaked around her waist and he pulled her closer. Amanda looked up at him.

“I don’t think this is a good idea,” she blurted.

Damian raised his eyebrows. She felt his muscles tense underneath her fingers and she wanted to bite back her words, but it was too late. She’d already put her foot in her mouth.

Amanda scratched her nose with the back of her arm and turned away from the window. The last time she had seen Damian had been a long time ago, more than two years ago to be exact. That’s when the real trouble had begun.

Amanda screamed along with her friends as the first chords of one of her favorite songs blasted through the karaoke’s bar speakers. She laughed and used her fist as a pretend microphone as she mouthed the words to Elton John’s and Kiki Dee’s song “Don't go breakin' my heart” which a group of men were badly imitating on stage.

Suddenly her friend, Anne, nudged her on the ribs.

“What?” She lowered her head so she could hear her friend above the noise.

“That hunk in the corner hasn’t stopped staring at you.”

Amanda raised her eyes and quickly lowered them. It couldn’t be. It could.

“Tell me what he looks like,” she said, grabbing her friends arm and turning her back on the boy while dancing with her friend.

“Tall, long dark hair, dressed in black pants and a long sleeve black shirt.”

“Shit.”

“You know him?”

“If it’s who I think he is, then yes.”

“Well, he’s standing up.”

“What?” Amanda turned around sharply. She watched the man walk to the stage. Her innards felt like jelly. She hadn’t seen that boy, no, man, since the summer before last when he’d almost kissed her. A base and guitar mingled in the air, then the sound of drums. Her attention was drawn to the stage. Damian stood center stage. She held to her beer bottle as if it was her only connection to life. Damian had let his hair loose. It wasn’t the messy strands she recalled but a silken curtain that hung halfway down his back. He was fitter than she recalled, seemingly having finally spread out in all the right places.

She realized with a jolt that the voice she was hearing was his. Had it been that deep and husky two years ago? Damian got down from the stage, singing and swaying his hips to the infectious melody of Alice Cooper’s Poison. She had to get out of there.

It was too late. Damian was before her, his blue eyes piercing through her and causing her blood to boil while he sung the lyrics to the song:

I want to love you, but I better not touch (Don't touch)
I want to hold you but my senses tell me to stop
I want to kiss you but I want it too much (Too much)
I want to taste you but your lips are venomous poison”

Before she could conjure something intelligent to say, Damian winked at her and went back on stage for the grand finale.

“Let’s get out of here.”

“What? Are you nuts?” Anne admonished her. “Amanda, you haven’t gotten laid in about a century and that hunk has it hot for you, what—“

“No, let’s go. Now.”

“What is wrong with you?”

“Nothing, it’s just I don’t want to stay here anymore.”

“Don’t you like the guy? Because if you don’t want him I’d love to give him a shot.”

“Anne!”

“Aha! So you do like him!”

“You do?”

A very masculine voice spoke from behind her. Amanda jumped and turned around. Her eyes found Damian and she blushed.

“That’s not what I was saying, Anne was just misinterpreting my words.”

Damian raised his eyebrows in a skeptical expression.

“Yeah, well, I don’t need to explain to you. We’re leaving.” Before she could turn around Damian grasped her wrist.

“Amanda.”
