Happy Sunday, everyone!
Today I'm still sharing from Alpha Protectors 4. Last week we finished with "charge" and we pick up from there.
I'm still a bit uncertain about the flow of this scene as I'm working on edits, but we shall see.
If you have not read the previous books, Inferum are the minions of the Sins. They are creatures which enter a human being's body and whisper evil things. When they're not inhabiting a body they're all around us, lurking, waiting for their next victim.

As
one, the soldiers moved forth, their voices loud and proud as they cried out
the warrior’s cry. All hell broke lose. Jillian and Gus looked as startled as she felt as she watched the
soldiers in action. They were precise, their movements smooth as one by one
they rid the room of the presence of the demons.
“No
you don’t.”
Killian’s
voice sounded behind her and she shivered. She closed her eyes. She wanted to
look back at him but she couldn’t because if she did she would break the triad
and the spell would crack. They were not done yet.
“Pru,”
Gus yelled.
