 “He’s here.” With those words her friend burst into tears and curled into a ball on the floor.  

“Conall,” Isidora whispered. Her heart sped up as she said his name aloud and the tingling butterflies she felt in her belly every time he was near surged to life. Oblivious to her reaction, Grace nodded.  

 

“He found us.” Isidora crouched at her side and took Grace’s hand away from her face. “Calm down, love. Tell me what happened.”
