#8sunday Weekend Writing Warrior

Happy Sunday, readers! I can't believe we're already in March! Where is time going off to?

Anyhow, today I decided to try something different and signed up for Weekend Writing Warriors. The principle is the same: post a few sentences from a WIP or published work. Today's 8 belong to my recent Evernight release The Golden Cock.

Gently grasping the material of her coat, he pulled it back. His fingertips brushed over her jaw before dropping back to his lap. Her breath stuttered and faltered as she caught sight of his eyes. The joyful mirth was gone, replaced in its stead by a burning intensity that she had failed to ever see before.

“What can I do for you, Brie?” he asked again, his voice huskier than she recalled from moments before.

She parted her lips to speak, no sound coming forth for a second as her gaze dropped to Vincent’s full lips. How would it feel to have those lips on her skin? He tilted his head, recapturing her
gaze, questioning her silently for the reason of her visit.

Kind-hearted Vincent Stowe spent years with an inferiority complex until, one day, after accepting to help an older woman with an odd request he receives a life-changing gift.

“Ice Duchess” Brielle is desperate for a solution to her inability to orgasm, so when word about a man with a magical cock reaches her ears, she decides that he just might be what she needs.
Will Vincent’s “Golden Cock” be enough for the “Ice Duchess”, or will something else come to play along the way?

  1. I love the sensory detail--his fingertips brushing her jaw and she imagined his lips on her skin. So much is said between the lines!
