A special Six Sentence Sunday

Happy Sunday, readers!

My publisher, Evernight, is turning 2 years old this month! Yay! They're holding a bunch of contests, including a blog hop which will start tomorrow and in which you can win free books, a nifty swag bag with tons of goodies (t-shirts, mugs...) and a Kindle!

Anyhow, back to today. As homage to this great celebration my Six Sentences belong to my first published Evernight novel: A Decade of Longing.

 Blurb:

Angelica and Alexander fell in love at a young age. Unfortunately, their love is doomed since the beginning. Forcibly separated, Angelica is obligated to marry another man at her father’s convenience while Alexander is prohibited from ever seeking her out again.

Ten years later, however, Alexander is no longer the callow boy he used to be. Now an influential gentleman, he is bent on recovering the only woman he has ever loved. No matter the cost. But has their love withstood the ravages of time?

Evernight has been home to A Decade of Longing, The Mercenary Knight, The Mercenary Slave, and my upcoming release The Lost Mercenary. I've had a great experience with them and I sincerely hope to continue growing at their side in the future.

Without further ado and before I get teary eyed, my Six Sentences:

It was time. He stepped away from the column and made his way towards her. As if sensing his presence, she turned around, her eyes locking with his, her acquaintance forgotten.
Neither of them moved. He noticed as her smile faded, her lips parted slightly, and her chest rose as she drew a deep breath. He moved towards her purposely.

If you liked it and are interested in reading this title or any other by me or my Evernight mates, visit ARE because ALL Evernight titles are 50% off. And don't forget to visit the rest of the fantastic authors participating in Six Sentence Sunday. Click here for the full list.

See you tomorrow! *wink*
