Today's Six belong to my current WIP in which past and present unite along with magic and of course, love. Hailey, has just tried out a little spell (something about finding your soul mate *wink*) but things haven't quite worked out the way they were supposed to. She's annoyed because everyone thinks she's a ditsy blonde obsessed with the occult, but she's not and she's going to prove it.
She was a hard
worker, impatient when things didn’t go as expected. It was partially the
reason why she’d filed through so many relationships. Why stay with a guy when
he clearly had nothing to offer? Some of her friends argued that she didn’t
give them a chance. She begged to differ. She’d given them a chance, they just
hadn’t taken it.

Hey, I agree Hailey why stay. :-) Great six sentences and I'll be back for more.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Brenda! :D
DeleteBwahahaha! Love that last line and totally agree with it! Great six.
ReplyDeleteMe too, Karysa ;-) Thanks!
DeleteSounds like the guys need to start "putting in" rather than "putting out" for her. Great six, Elyzabeth. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Siobhan! Yeah, guys definitely need to start putting in, but I admit that Hailey has to put on a little on her behalf too ;-)
Deletelol isn't that always how it is? Nice six!
ReplyDeleteLOL Thanks, Sandra!
DeleteAww, I feel her frustration. Sounds like a great story!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sandra :D
DeleteThis is a good starting point from which to develop her character into something a bit less entitled :) but then I tend to see things from the bloke's pov. Nice six.
ReplyDeleteThanks Elin :) Like I mentioned in another comment, she does need to start putting some effort on her behalf as well ;-)
