I'm back at last. These last almost two months have been hectic. There's been holidays, dog drama and back to work stress. Things finally seem to be settling back into a routine, so I hope to be back for good.
There's also been writing in little stolen moments, and that brings me to today's snippet! I know it's early for Christmas, but my story, Bear's Beauty (A Christmas Realm Tale) got accepted for publication!! Yay!

Magnus. She
must have heard wrong. Surely, she hadn’t been partnered with the only guy
which made her so nervous she wanted to either throw up or hide under a
blanket. With him.
A large masculine hand
appeared on her peripheral vision coming to rest on the tabletop next to her
pad. Her gaze traveled up, across a strong arm, a corded neck, a neatly trimmed
blond beard, sensuous lips, wide nose and eyes so blue she could easily swim in
them.
“Guess we’re stuck
together.”
A shiver racked her body,
spreading its tentacles across her lower abdomen and landing with a resonant
thud on her clit, bringing her body alive with desire. Her cheeks burned and
the knot in her stomach reappeared tightening to the point of leaving her breathless.
How in Santa’s name was she supposed to work with someone like Magnus?
