I'm back! I finally finished the WIP I had been working on, and I'm taking a short weekend break before starting on something new.
Today, however, I'm sharing another snippet from my story Entwined, which is part of the Passion, Pleasure, Pain Anthology, written by a wonderful group of authors in honor of our late friend, Doris O'Connor. All proceeds made will go to Doris's family.
I've picked up from my last snippet two weeks ago and Mason and Mallory are still midst shibari scene.
Enjoy! XoXo,
Elyzabeth

“I’m going to pull, and
you’re going to fly, pet. Are you ready?”
“Yes, Sir.”
It happened in a
heartbeat. One moment she was on the floor, and the next, she was soaring a few
feet above the ground. Adrenaline swept through her, and she giggled. The rope
dug into her, but it was inconsequential. She was turning in the air.
Suddenly, it stopped. Mason’s
eyes narrowed, and his grin spread becoming predatory. Her heart skipped a beat
as she realized the vulnerable position she was in.
“You’re mine, pet.”

Passion, Pleasure, Pain: An anthology of Dominance and submission
In each other they found the piece of themselves they hadn't even realized was missing.
This D/s anthology was put together by writers who hold author, Doris O'Connor, near and dear to
their hearts because the genre is one that was near and dear to Doris as an author.

I think it's wonderful what you're doing for Doris's family. I just bought it. Not a go-to genre for me, but the proceeds are such a good cause. :-)
ReplyDeleteThat's cruel of him to build up her hopes and use them to capture her!
ReplyDeleteJust awful in many ways. Kind of scary also. Way to go!
ReplyDeleteUh oh! But I loved the freedom she was feeling in the first few moments. Great snippet...
ReplyDeleteWhat a scary position she's in.
ReplyDeleteOh dear. And here she is, all tied up. :-)
ReplyDeleteOh my, that's intense!
ReplyDeleteShe may not be giggling for long in that position.
ReplyDeleteScary and vulnerable. Not a position I'd want to be in. Good job.
