Welcome lovelies! Today I have author J.J. Lore and a native inhabitant of Planet Alpha stopping by. His name is Prince Edem of Xyran and his story, Ruled.

Introducing Mallet, the
bondmate of Prince Edem of Xyran.
Welcome, Mallet. Would
you care to tell us about yourself?
Why do you want to know
about me?
So the readers out there
can get to know you a bit and become interested in reading your story.
Ah. It’s more accurately
our story. I don’t tend to think of myself without including my bondmates Edem
and Corrine.
Well, in the interest of
keeping this interview on point, let’s try to focus on you. Where are you from and
what do you do?
I am from Planet Alpha,
which is quite far from Earth, in a distant quadrant of the galaxy. We are a
proud race of warriors who happened upon your world, which confuses us with
your many ruling factions and environmental problems. I serve as bodyguard and
majordomo to Prince Edem.
On Alpha you don’t have
those issues?
Of course not. We have a
king who rules us with the good of our people ever paramount in his mind. My bondmate
is in line to inherit the title and all the responsibility that accompanies it.
My role is to support and defend him in all things. We bonded as teens and have
been in accord ever since. Well, to be honest, we do have disagreements, but
that is to be expected when dealing with one of the royal blood, accustomed to
doing as he likes.
So who is Corrine?
She is now our bondmate
and is perfection itself. With her by our sides, we can best any adversity the
galaxy might throw at us.
Is she human?
Yes, a beauty in form and
character. We met on Earth and it took much courting and charm to win her
heart. Prince Edem has a way with words and compliments I lack, so I was
grateful he could make inroads with her. I fear I would have simply thrown her
over my shoulder and taken her to our cabin if left to my own devices.
What does the future hold
for you?
Unknown. We are
travelling back to Alpha now and hope the King is receptive to a human
daughter-in-law. Relations between our people are still so new, it is difficult
to predict what our reception will be.
While on a clandestine visit to Earth, Prince Edem of
Alpha and his bondmate Mallet by chance meet a humble cook who intrigues them. The
impulsive prince feels a brief fling with an exotic human female sounds like
the perfect way to conclude their travels, while his more pragmatic bondmate
urges caution.
Despite all the reasons to avoid her, the Alphans seek
her out, intrigued by her prickly pride and defiant disposition. For her part,
Corrine is intimidated by these imposing and mysterious alien men, but finds
herself overwhelmed by their determined courtship.
Edem and Mallet convince themselves their deepening
feelings for Corrine do not have to include bonding, since such a commitment is
forbidden by the King and subjects of Alpha, determined to keep the bloodline
pure. But when danger threatens, the three are forced to choose between having
the galaxy at their feet or losing each other forever.

They made her shake. She’d thought
it was first with anger, then fear, but as Mal eased his mouth against hers
while Edem circled his fingers down her back, she knew she was shaking with
lust. How had she gotten here? She’d been so insulted by the gift she’d rushed
to them thoughtlessly and had somehow admitted to them she was frightened of
sex, but now was barely able to keep on her feet for the heat blooming in her
pussy.
Someone’s hands were pulling at
the hem of her shirt, and she drew away from Mal to glance down and discover
Edem had insinuated his fingertips underneath the material and was now rubbing
along her bare waist. Her skin tingled. Mal reached for her buttons and had the
front of her shirt open before she realized what was happening. When the cool
air reached her nearly exposed breasts, she automatically reached to bring the
edges back together, her breath rushing in and out with a mix of desire and
caution.
