Last weekend was a bit crazy as I had to pick up my sister from the airport and take both dogs to training on the same day and I totally forgot to sign up to Weekend Writing Warriors! I'm back today, though and I'm sharing another snippet from Entwined, which is part of the Passion, Pleasure, Pain Anthology which releases on February 14th.
In the last snippet I shared from these two, Mallory had been attracted to Mason but her friend had told her he had a different girl every weekend and he might be a shifter. I've moved a little ahead and Mason has approached Mallory.
Hugs all around,
Elyzabeth

“I see by your bracelet that
you’re a submissive looking to play,” Mason said, staring at the red wrist
band. His eyes glittered. He lifted his arm displaying his black band implying
he was a Dominant. “Is this your first time at the club?” he asked.
“No.”
“Then I don’t know how I
could have possibly missed you.”
Mallory swallowed. He was
flirting with her, but she was terrible at it and couldn’t think of a response.
Shit, he was going to think she was stupid.
Instead, he smirked.

Always up to mischief and not always making things right.
ReplyDeleteUh oh, a smirk is never a good sign to me....will be interesting to see what happens next. Interesting snippet!
ReplyDeleteIt'll be interesting to see how he interprets her smirk.
ReplyDeleteJust because he smirked doesn't mean he doesn't think she's stupid. :-) I think she should run. lol
ReplyDeleteShe shouldn't be so hard on herself. He likes what he sees!
