#Friday Happy Author Hour! Share a drink with your favorite #Authors! #HappyHour #writing Today with Pelaam

Whether you're an author or not, you've heard it before: All authors drink.

But what do they drink?

Happy Friday, my lovelies! I've got two awesome recipes today, all brought to you by the lovely, Pelaam! Read on to learn how to make a Mojito and some Chilli!

My Drink - Mojito

The recipe below is Bacardi's own – I love Bacardi white rum best of all. I quite like Bacardi with fresh orange juice, but the mojito is a perfect summer cocktail. When it come to making my own mojito, or having it prepared in a local bar, I like less sugar, and an extra squeeze of lime and also a swirl of reposado tequila to top it off.

The drink is perfect for the warm summer evenings here in New Zealand. Long, fresh, and cool with the beautiful scent of mint. Gorgeous.
2 parts BACARDÍ Superior rum
4 lime wedges
12 fresh mint leaves
2 heaped tsp of caster sugar
1 part soda water/club soda
Sprig of fresh mint to garnish

Method

Gently press together the limes & sugar. Bruise the mint leaves by clapping them between your palms, rub them on the rim of the glass and drop them in. Next, half fill the glass with crushed ice, add the BACARDÍ Superior rum & stir. Top up with crushed ice, a splash of soda and a sprig of mint.

This is my twist on a popular chilli recipe
