When Andrea Johnson, writing as author Cindy Vega, signed up for a Meet & Greet with the cover model of her latest book, she didn’t expect sparks to fly. Yushka is dangerously good-looking and too young for her. But their connection is instantaneous, and during a photo shoot with the two, the photographer picks up on their growing attraction. Seeing the potential for the cover photo of the century, he decides to push their comfort limits...
1. Welcome Andrea or should I say,
Cindy? Can you tell us a bit about your writing?
Hi Elyzabeth! First off,
thanks for having me here. I’m not used to being in the spotlight, but I’ll
answer your questions the best I can. So, my writing. I’m an erotic romance
writer, but you know how it is – some say it’s too sweet and romantic to be
labelled erotic, and some say it’s too pornographic to be romance. *shakes
head*
2. Do you believe in love?
Quite honestly, I’m not
sure. I’ve been let down many years ago, at a pivotal time in my life—learning
I was pregnant—and since then, I’ve found it hard to believe such a thing as love was in the cards for me. I’m nearing my forties now, do I dare give my
heart to someone and risk being hurt again? I feel so fragile, need time to
make up my mind.
3. I’ve heard that you met the cover
model of your latest book… How is Yushka?
Oh, he is… *sighs* One,
he’s the hottest thing you can imagine on legs. When you see him, you get this
heart attack moment where you forget to breathe and your body fills with a
certain kind of heat… ahem. Second, he’s the sweetest, gentlest guy I’ve met in
a looong time—meaning genuinely attentive and caring. You just gotta love a person
like that. Oh, and it doesn’t hurt that he’s super sharp and unusually mature
for his age!
4. How was the photo shoot? What was
your favorite moment of the experience?
How it was? You’ll have to
read my book to find out, lol. Recapping the events would put me in a state of…
uhm… But if I have to be honest with myself, I’ll admit my favorite moment of
all was the second photo shoot. They placed me atop a piano with the most
gorgeous hunk of a man between my legs, and he was pushing his deliciously hard
body against me, wrestling me and…in the end, delving his tongue deep in my
mouth. God, just thinking about it… *fans myself*
5. Now, how do you feel about dating
a younger man? And if the roles were reversed?
I’m not comfortable with the
situation. He says he doesn’t care that I’m older, but our fifteen-year
difference bothers me. I have two sons practically his age—how will they react?
And will Yushka still be attracted to me in a few years, when I get visibly
older? As for the roles being reversed, I could just as easily be attracted to
a gray fox. But honestly, no one would even ask the question. That’s just how
society works.
6. What’s one thing you like about
Yushka, besides his good looks? *grin*
His ability to make me feel
special and beautiful. It’s the way his eyes warm when he looks at me, the way
he smiles, teases me, and plays the goof to make me smile back, and it’s the
way his body…ahem…reacts when he holds me tight. He’s truly irresistible, in
every sense of the word.
7. What
is your idea of perfect happiness?
Being with someone who respects and cherishes
you no matter your age or what you look like.
8.
What is your motto?
It’s okay to bow in a storm, just get up and
trudge on.
9. Tomorrow
is Halloween, do you have any plans?
No, but I look forward to all the small scary
people who come knocking on my door!
Quickie questionnaire:
Chocolate or vanilla? Chocolate (that’s almost Yushka’s tan, lol)
Chocolate or vanilla? Chocolate (that’s almost Yushka’s tan, lol)
Coffee or tea? Can’t decide. I want coffee in the morning, and tea in
the evening
Hottest thing a person can say to you: Kiss me
Boxers or briefs? I don’t care as long as it’s sexy
Favorite position: Oh, what a question! Um, does “piano” say enough?
Craziest thing you’ve done for love: Get up on a stage in front of
hundreds of people to declare I’m in love with someone. Just remembering that
moment, my heart palpitates!
ABOUT LEA BRONSEN:
I like my reads fast, hot, and edgy,
and strive to give my own stories the same intensity. After venturing into
dirty inner-city crime drama with my debut novel Wild Hearted, I divide my
writing time between psychological thriller, erotic contemporary romance, and
dripping erotica.
EXCERPT
You've just been waiting for that excerpt, haven't you?
An assistant calls Yushka’s name. Bare-chested, the
Asian hunk appears from a group of models, strolls to the spotlights, and waits
in front of the camera with the confident stance of a professional.
The whole place quiets as
