Today I'm continuing with book two of Moon Point. The first story was published in the Evernight Publishing anthology, Owned by the Alpha. I've shared previous snippets from this story -when I first started writing it- so you might remember the characters, Lee and Alkaline.
Continuing from last week, let's see what Alkaline has to say to Lee's proposal.
Major editing has occurred to keep to guidelines :)

"You're right, kit. I have imagined us together. Your body below mine, your moans and grunts as we fuck, but it'll never happen. We’re too similar, kit. Alkaline smirked. Lee stiffened. “We’re leaders, Lee, alphas. I can see it in you as much as you can see it in me and I can’t be with a man who contests my position and disrupts the order of my pride. I will never bow down to you, and if even for a moment you thought yourself worthy to be my mate, you won’t do it either.” Alkaline stepped away from Lee. “There’s nothing for us here, Leeland."
