I know I've been absent the last few weeks but it was for a good reason! I had a troupe of wonderful authors stopping by the blog and I wanted to give them all the spotlight.
But now I'm back *grin* And incredibly, this is the last Snippet Sunday of 2014! It's incredible how fast time passes. This year has been full of ups and downs, but that's a post for another day.
Today's snippet from my Holiday novel Out of the Ordinary, continues from my last one, which you can read HERE.
Enjoy!
XOXO,
Elyzabeth

"Kiss me, please."
Dolph moaned loudly as Bill's mouth descended over his in a harsh
kiss. He didn't waste any time teasing him like before. Had he been a predator
and not a reindeer, Dolph would have described him as going straight for the
kill. Bill's tongue wrapped around his and they began a desperate tango in
search of pleasure. Bill pulled back first. Dolph panted against the wall, his
eyes still shut tightly. Sliding his knuckles across his cheek, Bill whispered
a soft-spoken good
night before leaving.
When twenty-two year old Dolph arrives
in Christmas town, he only intends to stay for a few days, especially
with his secret in tow. However, when Bill and his herd turn up for the
contest that will choose Santa's next sled pullers, he can't bring
himself to leave. With his heart hanging on a line and his feelings for
Bill evolving swiftly, Dolph will have to decide if he wants to join the
herd or continue his life as a solitary shifter.
At first sight, Bill's herd meets
societal convention, but on closer inspection, the team of eight doesn't
exactly follow the rules. When Bill meets Dolph and his body and soul
react to him in ways that are out of the ordinary, he knows that he must
have him in his life. With the help of his herd, a plan comes to life,
yet, with only three days before Christmas Eve, will they be able to
convince the younger shifter to stay with them forever?
