#8Sunday #SexySnippets #WeekendWritingWarriors: Luna #paranormal #romance

Happy Sunday, guys!

Thank you for the good luck wishes regarding my new work commitments and your comments on the snippet *smile*

Today I'm  not going to babble too much and jump right into the snippet. *grin*

Let's recap: Clare (aka Luna), has met a mysterious, yet hunky, alien who's come to take her back to his home. She believes he's Mikelo, the alien boy she'd met twenty years ago... but he's presented himself as Serrik. In shock, Clare doesn't know how to react. Serrik taunts her and asks her why she is not screaming. In the previous snippet he tells her that her destiny is tied with his people. Clare denies it and  he threatens her. Serrik will do whatever it takes to get Clare back to his world and to Mikelo.

Finally, you can read the older snippets here:

I hope all having a great weekend!

"Come." He reached for her arm but she shrugged him off.

"I don't need your help to walk."

Serrik pressed his lips together - she was human  - he had to remember that she was not used to the Feardrako or their way of doing things.

“Do you know where we are going?”

“To the bunker.”

Her voice cracked as she said it, but she plunged ahead. Brave little one. It was interesting how she denied knowing or remembering anything about them, yet, she knew her way well toward the old abandoned building where the portal still sat.

  1. I've enjoyed all the snippets from this story. I think the interactions build really well.

  2. She's in big trouble and handles it well. Good snippet.

  3. So he's just the messenger? Oh my. I like his grudging respect. Nicely done, Elyzabeth. :)

  4. She sure is a brave little thing. Fab snippet, Elyzabeth :-)

  5. I love the intrigue behind this. Why is denying knowing anything about his people if she clearly knows her way to the portal?

  6. Neat! She remembers but it's not a conscious level? This has the makings for a great read, Elyzabeth! :-)

  7. He raises good points about her memory or lack thereof. And I'm impressed with her courage. Lots of good stuff going on here, can't wait to read more - excellent excerpt.

I adore comments! Don't be shy and tell me your thoughts.
