It's that time of the week again: Sunday! And though I should be happy, I'm not much because it's my last day of holidays. Tomorrow it's back to University for me and that means less time for writing. Ugh ><

Devinia worried her lip as she looked at what she had written. It was all crap. What kind of writer was she when she couldn’t even get a paragraph right? What kind of Goth was she that she couldn’t describe her tumultuous feelings properly? She shook her head. She was no good as a Goth, hadn’t been in her teens and wasn’t now in her late twenties.

She closed her eyes for a moment and took in a deep breath. Sometimes she felt cursed, as if her life was taking her nowhere…except to a certain death. She smiled at the thought. Death, it was not like she could die easily. Yes, she was cursed. Although for some, it was a blessing.

Thursday Melodies

The weekend is almost around the corner! Hip Hip Hurrah! Although, I'm not sure if that is good thing because it means I'll be heading back to class...

Anyways, let's talk about nicer things like for example today's song: "Mercury Falling" by the Finnish group, Poisonblack.

I've known this group for ages and Ville Laihala's, previous group, Sentenced, as well. The man has a rough, sort of husky voice that makes little butterflies appear in the pit of my stomach. I've particularly picked this song because it brings out the rougher edge of his voice, thus making me put on a little smile whenever I listen to it. (So that's probably why I get all the funny stares when I'm walking home, to the bus or on the subway with that loopy grin, LOL).
As a matter a fact, his voice has been an inspiration for Conrad, the main character of my current WIP.

Another week gone by and it's Sunday again. I wasn't sure whether or not to publish something from my WIP or to publish some excerpt from an old story. In the end, the WIP won, for now. But, I think next week I might do something a little different.

Welcome to another installment of Six Sentence Sunday! Today's six sentences are once again from my current Work in Progress. Enjoy!

Tanya lay awoke in the room’s cot, trying to fall asleep. Had she been alone in the room she would have masturbated to orgasm, but Wybert and Gregorii lay asleep in the same room and she didn’t want to disturb them. Again her thoughts travelled to Conrad. Her heart swelled remembering how he had promised to see her to safety and her body burned from the memory of his cock pressed against her.

She turned in her bed for the hundredth time. Maybe she could try being quiet and touch herself a little, if only to ease the steady throb between her legs.
