#TNTConfidential Author Spotlight on Tyler Robbins & Killian's Claim

Happy Thursday, darlings! I can't believe February is almost over! But worry not, I have one last awesome #TNTConfidential author for you! Please welcome Tyler Robbins and her paranormal mm romance Killian's Claim.

Six years ago, Quinn Kelly barely escaped the brutal murder of his parents. Now the lone-wolf is searching for a place to belong. Well aware of his proclivity for men, his nomadic life hasn’t allowed him to find anyone to call his own, until now.

Wolf-shifter and future alpha of his own pack, Killian Masters wants nothing more than his father’s approval. After meeting Quinn, he’s more determined than ever to make his father see who he is and how deeply he loves.

Captivated by their growing passion, the young lovers have a rude awakening when the vengeful alpha who murdered Quinn’s parents, finds him, and vows to destroy anyone who gets in his way.

Some say the battle between good and evil is determined by which power is fed the most, but in nature, no power compares to that of an alpha’s claim.

Welcome Tyler! Tell us a bit about Killian's Claim.

It’s been a while since I’ve had a full length book to release, and I’m thrilled that Killian’s Claim is finally here. Most of my books have been M/M military themed, so my new series, Call of the Wolf, is a fresh and exciting new sub-genre I can’t seem to get enough of.
The first book, The Becoming, is featured in the Alpha’s Claim Manlove Anthology from Evernight. The story intrigued my muse and opened up a whole new world full of sexy, paranormal wolf-shifters.
The Call of the Wolf series follows the lives of several wolf packs across the state of Texas and a few other southern states.
Their species lives by a strict code, and heed the call of the spirit wolf in all things, including matters of the heart. Not an easy undertaking when you’ve been told your sexuality goes against the laws of nature … or does it?

Change is coming, and each pack will inevitably have to make choices that will either strengthen or destroy their way of life.

The characters in Killian’s Claim, face these problems as well, but they have so much more than wolf spirits to deal with.

Where did the inspiration for this story come from?
Killian’s Claim was inspired by a short story I wrote for Evernight Publishing’s Anthology, Alpha’s Claim Manlove Edition. After the story had unfolded, I knew right away that more stories would soon follow, and the Call of the Wolf Series was born.

Describe this novel in one sentence.
Some say the battle between good and evil is determined by which power is fed the most, but in nature, no power compares to that of an alpha’s claim.

If you had to pinpoint a flaw in your lead characters what would it be? How about an asset?
Killian’s biggest flaw is that his alpha-ness causes him to forget that Quinn is a strong man, too, and doesn’t want to be rescued. His best asset is patience.

Quinn’s biggest flaw is his inability to put down roots because he’s always been alone. His asset is his desire to be loved, and the sacrifices he’s willing to make for those he does.

What was the hardest part about writing this novel?
The hardest thing about writing this book was making sure Quinn didn’t come off as resistant to being dominated. As an alpha, Killian needed to be the boss, but most of my characters have always been rather equal, having one be a true alpha meant I had to write one a bit more submissive than I usually like to. It was a learning experience for all of us. J

Did you have to do any research to write Killian’s claim?
Absolutely. I’ve never written a book that didn’t require research. Most of what I studied for this story was about animal nature, plants, and geography.

Have you ever suffered from writer’s block? What’s your solution?
I am one of those writers who can, and does, suffer from writer’s block on a regular basis. There’s no tried and true solution, but a whole lot of trial and error. I listen to music, meditate, go for a drive, take a break from the project for a day or so, and even start something new and return to the first one as soon as the juices start flowing again. I also make up my own mock book covers. It’s therapeutic, and gives me a visual aid to gain inspiration.

Is there anything you’d love to try writing but haven’t dared to yet?
BDSM. I haven’t read much of it, but there are all sorts of naughty ideas in my head that are screaming to be shared. I’m thinking that might be a sign.

February Love

Valentine’s Day: Yes or no? Why?
Yes, but since I am a widow, and not currently involved, I celebrate it with my kids the way my husband and I always did when they were little. We enjoyed giving the kids gifts and candy much more than giving it to each other. Now the kids are old enough to shop for each other and me, so I get all the candy I could possibly need.

A suggestion for the single ladies and gents out there to do on Valentine’s Day-
Nope. If you love someone, any night can be Valentine’s Day, so why do something special just for one night when you could do it all through the year.

A book to read this month
Anything written by Avril Ashton is gonna get your motor running. She writes enough genres to satisfy anyone’s tastes.

A movie to watch
I’m an action fan, so romance isn’t as easy to suggest. However, I have always loved Robin Hood- Prince of Thieves. (1992)
My kids gave me the DVD to me for my anniversary last October because the theme song by Brian Adams, “Everything I Do”, was the song played at my wedding. <3

Favorite candy to munch on
Anything chocolate!! Especially Reece’s Peanut Butter Cups and Twix

Greatest romantic gesture you’ve done and greatest romantic gesture for which you’ve been the recipient.
The greatest romantic gesture I ever made was to send my kids to my parents, and made a nice, quiet dinner for my just myself and my late husband.
The most romantic gesture done for me was when my husband planned a weekend getaway to a lake resort near our home. We didn’t go far, but for the entire weekend we watched movies, ordered takeout, and relaxed with no kids, no phones, and no stress.
It’s amazing the difference in what you consider romantic before and after kids.

#TNTConfidential Author Spotlight on: Tyler Robbins and Alpha's Claim Manlove Edition

Hello my darlings and happy Thursday! Today I have the very talented Tyler Robbins, (also known as Robin Badillo, who I visited on Tuesday), under the spotlight with her story, The Becoming, in the Alpha's Claim ManLove Edition. Read on for some hotness!

“The Becoming”
Evernight Publishing’s
Alpha’s Claim Manlove Anthology

Every year, wolf packs along the Texas Gulf Coast gather for what is known as the becoming. A ceremony where young adult shifters transition into their wolf form for the first time and when each wolf’s spirits selects their destined mate.

As the son of an alpha, Josh Spinner has dreaded this day ever since he first realized he was gay, but planned to go through with the becoming, denying his true self forever.

Braden Scott, the only son of an exiled omega wolf, has lived in the shadows of shame since his father’s banishment before he was even born. The becoming was his only shot of ever being accepted into the fold.

Neither man expected their undeniable attraction and neither are prepared for the fallout that follows.

Natural selection separates the men from the boys, but destiny seals their fate.

Adult Excerpt:
Braden followed him for several minutes until the light from the campfires faded into the darkness behind them. Out of breath and feeling like he was about to come out of his own skin, he backed off. “I’m just trying to figure it out, man.”

In an instant, Josh stopped, turned on his heel and charged at Braden, slamming him against a tree.

Braden’s heart jumped, and his cock thumped the second he felt Josh’s erection pressing against his hip.

“Leave me the fuck alone.”

Braden drew in a deep breath to calm himself. “Why?”

Josh’s nostrils flared, and he seemed to search Braden’s eyes. The tight strain on his brow loosened with each passing second, and he slowly released the intimidating hold on Braden. “Because you’re gonna fuck everything up.”
Confused, Braden reached out and gripped Josh’s shoulder. “I didn’t do anything.”

Josh’s gaze drifted down to Braden’s mouth, and he licked his lips. “My future’s been planned. I’m destined to be an alpha.” Pausing, he clenched his jaw and blinked rapidly as though desperate to explain. “But I’ve never—”

“So you do feel it?”

Josh pushed away. “My whole fucking life I’ve waited to feel … that. Whatever it was.”

“I have, too.”

Josh’s chest rose and fell, and his expression twisted. “They won’t allow it.”

“You don’t know that.”

He shook his head. “Yeah, I do.”

“Are there rules?”

“Rules?” Josh stepped back and laughed sarcastically. “Some rules are the same in all societies, shifter and human.”

Braden reached out for him, unable to go another second without touching the other man. “I have to know.”

“Know what?”

“This.” He grabbed Josh by the collar of his shirt and jerked him near. “I gotta know, even if it’s just one time, how it feels to be true to myself.”

Josh closed his eyes. His nostrils flared wide, and his hands trembled as he grasped Braden’s shoulder.

Braden’s shaky exhale echoed between them, and he inched closer until he could literally taste Josh’s breath. “Gotta—”

Josh’s mouth engulfed his, and Braden whimpered from the rush of emotions bombarding his entire body like hot coals from a raging fire zapping out one by one, torpedoing his skin, inch by glorious inch.

Braden wrapped his tongue around Josh’s and sucked it into his mouth, deeper and deeper, as if consuming the other man would satisfy his insatiable appetite for more. He jammed his hardened cock against Josh’s and dry humped him through their jeans. “Feels so right.”

TnT Confidential: Tyler Robbins: A Beautiful Lie

Hey lovelies, today I have author Tyler Robbins with her latest release, A Beautiful Lie, here with me. Her title reminds me of that 30 Second to Mars song and it's video which was shot in Greenland, but I think her story is more on the hot side *wink*

Jesse Reagan has had more than his share of tragedy, and he may have been dealt another blow when, once again, cancer threatens the sister who raised him. Faced with the possibility of being left behind, Jesse vows to care for her young son, though he’s not convinced he can.

When Trip Cantrell returns to town, he’s blindsided the instant he’s reunited with his kid brother’s lifelong friend, Jesse. His inability to find happiness in the years he’s been gone, suddenly makes sense. Love’s been waiting at home all along.

Life begins to look promising, except for the fact that neither have come out of the closet publicly, and that’s not even their biggest problem. Someone has a secret so shocking they may never find a way past it.

Will they be accepted in their small Texas town, or will secrets, lies, and the threat of tragedy destroy everything?

Some small towns just aren’t meant to hold big secrets.

We both know you want to read the excerpt... (beware of the language)

Jesse lay back on the dock with his hands folded under his head and one leg crisscrossed over the other at the ankle. He wore a pair of black swim trunks, flip flops, and a navy blue t-shirt, the usual lakeside attire.

Trip eased up, enjoying his uninterrupted view. As he reached Jesse, his shadow cast a dark void that blocked the sun from Jesse’s upper torso, including his face.

Jesse looked back, and sprang to his feet the instant he saw Trip standing there. “Oh, hey.”

“Hey.” Trip stepped closer. “You, uh, bolted pretty fast this morning.”

“Yeah. Had a lot of stuff to do.” Jesse reached down and picked up a red, plastic gas can.

“Too busy for a goodbye?” Anxious knots twisted Trip’s insides. A first time for everything.

“Look, man. Last night—” Jesse’s cheek puffed out as he exhaled. “Last night was crazy.”

Trip nodded. “Yeah, more than I bargained for, that’s for sure.”

Jesse swayed from one foot to the other. He’d yet to look Trip in the eye, which only added to the tension mounting between them.

“So, how are you?” Sh*t. I sound like a girl.

Jesse shrugged. “I’m cool.” His voice kicked up an octave, giving his reply an air of indifference.

“Cool.” Trip folded his arms across his chest, suddenly feeling awkward as f*ck. “Well, I wanted to see if you’d be up for a ride out to the island later today.”

Jesse squinted as the sun cascaded across his face. He covered his eyes with his hand. “I don’t know, man. I have a lot to do around here.” He sloshed the can of gas and started to walk past Trip.

Trip raised his hand and gently touched Jesse’s chest. “I just want to talk.” He spoke barely above a whisper.

The instant Jesse’s deep green gaze met Trip’s, a frenzied charge of electricity tingled across his skin.

“Trip, if Eric finds out—” Jesse shook his head. “Why are you doing this?”

“Why am I doing this? Jesse, something happened. Something I can’t explain.”

Jesse drew in a deep breath. “I’ve got a lot going on right now. Having my best friend find out I f**ked his brother is the last thing I need to deal with.”

Trip tugged at the hem of Jesse’s t-shirt. “I have as much to lose here as you, but if I don’t see you … and I mean alone, and face to face, it’s gonna drive me f**kin’ nuts.”

Jesse scanned the area around them then gently nudged Trip’s hand away. “I can’t make any promises, but I’ll try.”

“That’s all I’m asking.” Trip instinctively leaned in for a kiss, but checked himself before getting too close. He ran a shaky hand through his hair instead. “I’ll be on the island before dark.”

Jesse nodded. “Okay, but please, for sh*t’s sake, don’t f**k me over with Eric.”

Trip swallowed a mass of air clinging to the back of his throat. “Don’t worry. I know how to be careful around my brother.”

Jesse pushed past Trip and continued toward the store.

“See you later.”

Jesse turned back, took another good look then gave Trip a partial smile. “Yeah.” He opened the door and disappeared inside the bait shop.

Trip closed his eyes, savoring the scent of Jesse’s cologne, thankful for the smile, no matter how small it was. Tonight, given another chance, he’d memorize every inch of Jesse Reagan.

T'n'T's Confidential: Tyler Robbins *Giveaway*

Welcome to T'n'T's Confidential! Today I have lovely author Robin Badillo/Tyler Robbins under the spotlight along with her sexy vampires from Immortal Thirst. Furthermore, she's giving away a copy of her novel to a lucky commentor! So read on and leave a comment below to win!

An immortal thirst can never be denied, especially when it’s a thirst for each other.

Get your copy at:

Welcome to in A Dream Beyond Robin/Tyler! Tell us about your recent release Immortal Thirst

The newest addition to the Tyler Robbins’ erotic romance list is a steamy little story called “Immortal Thirst”.

Vampire, Tristan Deveraux, savored the night with his young progeny, Caleb, by his side. Satisfying his shameless desires, he took what he wanted without reprisal or regret, until Gauge Roberts darkened his door.
Gauge, an ex-Navy Seal, offered more than muscles and brawn when he became Tristan’s personal security coordinator. Surrendering to an undeniable attraction, the dominating soldier scratched an itch both had ignored far too long.

A remarkable bond is quickly formed between the three very different men, allowing each to fulfill individual needs while maintaining separate but equal relationships, until a surprising enemy threatens to destroy it all.

Will they survive the deadly fight, or is heartbreak the only price for satisfying their kind’s immortal thirst?

A m/m/m/ romance… why?

In all honesty, when the idea of Immortal Thirst was first born, I had no idea there would be a ménage situation.

I learned three things rather quickly, though: Tristan would never be the type to cheat; Gauge would never intentionally come between lovers unless he was invited; and Caleb was far too important to both of the other men, so he wasn’t going anywhere either.

All three bring very important aspects to the relationship which creates a perfect fit. I don’t know if I could ever share the man I loved, but these guys figured out how to make it work.

What was your greatest challenge when writing this novel?

With this novel, the greatest challenge was making sure each man was portrayed as strong, honorable men in their own right. No wimpy vampires here.

Although each have weaknesses, their strengths hold up and get them through whatever they have to face.

Hollywood has decided to make an adaptation of your novel, which actors would play the lead roles?

If Hollywood were to call, I think Gauge would best be played by Taylor Kitsch, Tristan by Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Caleb by Nico Tortorella.

Taylor and Aaron were actually in a love triangle movie in 2012 called “Savages”, where they happily shared actress Blake Lively. That interesting dynamic actually inspired my muse after I realized it would indeed be a mĂ©nage.

Nico found a place in my heart more recently when he was cast as a wanna-be serial killer in a new television drama called “The Following”.

Mention one flaw and one asset of the characters of your release.

We all have flaws and assets, and these characters are no different.

Tristan’s flaw would have to be greed, but in direct contrast to that flaw, he’s often the first to share.

Gauge’s flaw would be his hero complex. He thinks he’s the only one who can save the day, much to the dismay of his capable lovers. His asset would be the same trait. He’d sacrifice himself to save the ones he loves.

Caleb’s flaw would have to be always putting other’s needs before his own no matter what it costs him. There’s good reason for that, but fortunately, there’s also plenty of room for change. His greatest asset would have to be his fierce loyalty. No matter what, he’s a man of his word.

You write under two names, Tyler Robbins and Robin Badillo… what will readers find on one and the other?

Tyler Robbins writes GLBT erotic romance. Most have either a military-type theme or a southern setting. So far, “Immortal Thirst”, and “Beyond Honor” have both.

Robin Badillo writes contemporary romance, usually southern themed, paranormal or a mixture of both as well. Though Robin’s stories are all male/female in nature, the heat levels range from sensual romance to erotic.

What are you currently working on?

At the moment, Tyler has just completed another M/M southern themed erotic romance where the hero falls for his best friend’s brother. And their closeted romance isn’t the only secret being kept in their small town.
In One Beautiful Lie, the secrets are often bigger than the state of Texas.

A little more on the author…

A traditional morning for you would be:

My alarm goes off the first time at 5 a.m. for the sole purpose of waking my 15yr old daughter for school so she can catch the bus.

It then goes off again at 7a.m., and I take my 17yr old, high school senior to school. She has late arrival, and doesn’t have her driver’s license yet.

When I return, I check emails, set up my blog posts, check Facebook groups for theme day postings, then start writing. I juggle all of the above between retrieving kids from school, fussing with my spoiled dogs and visiting with my oldest son before he leaves for work. On really crazy days, I actually leave the house for extended periods to run errands.

Most days the television is never turned on, and I have my first munchie break around 2 p.m. It’s a vicious cycle, but somebody has to do it.

Currently reading: I just started reading, “Taming His Beast” by Marie Medina.

Favorite movie: A tossup between “Savages” and “Lawless”. I like my movies gritty and action packed.

One place you’d like to visit in your life time: Most of our family vacations were spent in Mexico with my late husband’s family, so now I would love to see more of the U.S. and Canada.

You’re falling asleep on your keyboard, you… wake up with silver glitter on my face because the stickers my kids bought to replace the letters I’ve worn off, were sparkly.

That song that pops into your head at random times is: “Baby I like it” by Enrique Iglesias. I have no idea why.
