#TNTConfidential Author Interview with Michaela Rhua and Moon Dance #Romance #FF

Greetings my darlings and welcome to the first #TNTConfidential of the year!

For the new readers, #TNTConfidential is the spot I reserve on Tuesday's and Thursday's for all authors to come by for a visit and share their latest news. There are 3 different versions, #TNTConfidential Author Spotlight, #TNTConfidential Character Interview and #TNTConfidential Author Interview.

Today, author Michaela Rhua is stopping by and answering my questionnaire. Please welcome her and her latest release, Moon Dance.

Welcome to In A Dream Beyond, Michaela! I hope you had a wonderful end of 2014 and beginning of 2015! You’re our first guest of the year! Wohoo! *rubs hands evilly* No, no, don’t be scared. I’ll start with the easy questions:

When did you start writing and why?

I think I have always scribbled here and there. Even as a teenager I used to write short romantic stories for my friends but then real life took over and I forgot about writing. It was only a few years ago that I met a group of writers online and was pushed and pulled into penning something myself. We blog as The Nuthouse Scribblers.

Are you a plotter or a pantser? What’s your usual writing style?

I think I am a bit of both – a Plontser. I tend to start with a blank page and just start writing until it begins to form. Then I get to a point when I have forgotten where I am going so start making notes to help push it on to the end.

How did you come up with the inspiration for Moon Dance?

I wanted to write a paranormal FF book again. I loved writing Mated Forever but inspiration would not come at all in anyway shape or form. So I left it all. It was September 2014 when this story began to form in my mind and then I began writing it.  It soon developed a life of its own and a series sprang up.

Moon Dance. I love the title. How do you normally come up with novel titles?

Sometimes the titles emerge as the story forms. At other times I know the title before I start writing. I did with Moon Dance and I knew the title of the next one in the series – Moon Bound.

Did you have to do any research to write Moon Dance? If yes, tell us about it.

One of the characters is a witch so I bothered a good friend who is a very knowledgeable about the Craft and is a Wiccan. She helped with understanding the moon phases and getting the language right.

What’s been the most difficult part about writing this story? And the easiest?

The hardest -Sending it off to the publisher. The self-doubt and nerves took over until I received their reply – R&R (Revise and Resubmit) I had made some errors on the formatting and chapter headings. You know, really silly errors that had me palm facing - lots! Then I sent it off again and the wait began. Fortunately it was a YES.

The easiest – when I began the story flowed and just ran its own course. That was fab.

This blog is big on dreams… so tell us one of yours:

To find one of books in a book shop!

January Oh, January

Christmas blues?
Yes – for the first time in a long while I feel a little blue. I have some changes to make with my everyday job so that is exercising my mind. My children are getting older and on the cusp of making decisions that will affect their futures so lots going on that I feel anxious about.

If yes, tell us how you get over it
Hmmm….I’ll let you know when I find how to get over it!

A New Year resolution - Live life fully, enjoy laugh and love.
Best cure for the cold weather -Rest, liquids and food you like to eat.
Favorite warm drink -Earl Grey tea
A book for this month – It’s probably a bit cheeky to say mine – Moon Dance! I want to read  Stardust by Neil Gaiman and I have a few Jean Plaidy’s on my TBR pile. That’s not counting the dozen’s on my kindle. All I need is time!

If we looked under your bed right now, we’d find… Apart from dust, a pink string shopping bag that I like and my kindle.

~~~ EXCERPT ~~~
"Good morning Amari. Sorry I couldn't wait," Raya said. She pulled off her sneakers one by one, followed by her sports socks.
Amari held out her hand, inviting her across. Raya's eyes lit up and she began to walk across the shallow water. Suddenly she stopped and looked down at her feet, confusion written across her face. Raya backed away, out of the water.
"You okay?"
TnT Confidential: Michaela Rhua and her Guardian Possession
Welcome to TnT Confidential, that special place for authors to stop by have a cup of coffee or be interrogated under the spotlight. *g* Today I have the pleasure of having author Michaela Rhua stop by and share her latest release Guardian Possession.
When Character's take over.
Thank you Elyzabeth for having me on your blog.
My newest release out!!! So excited!
It is called Guardian Possession and is book two of a series that started with Guardian Awakening. I have tried to write it in such a way that you don't have to read book one – although I would be delighted if you did.
The third book in the series is still in the ether somewhere. I know what the story will be but have not drafted it as yet. It will focus on the brother of Royanne called Oryan – I better get a move on I suppose!
This book was meant to be all about Royanne with Zachriel being the love interest; however the character's had other ideas. It turned out that Zachriel had a deep, dark past which needed to be revealed and along with it release him from the ties that bound him.
I really haven't had that before…so I was scratching my head wondering what was going on. Often, I hear my writer friends talking about their character's leading the way and I have sat back wondering what that is all about. But for the first time I experienced it first hand – when Zachriel took over.
Don't get me wrong, we learn a lot about Royanne, the person she longs to be and her own issues. In a way they help each other to move forward.
Zachriel's story needed to be told and he kept pushing and prodding revealing little bits at a time until it was all out there. I hope the readers think it makes the story stronger – I think so.
I will leave you with the blurb and excerpt.
Blurb for Guardian Possession.
Royanne longs to be free of everyone's expectations. Meeting a mysterious stranger who she is drawn to confuses her. He feeds her longing to be free and ignites a fire inside of her. She is aroused by this tortured soul. When he kidnaps her and reveals his plan, she is torn between loathing him and wanting him.
Zachriel is under orders from the Dark Master—kidnap Guardian demon Royanne. Only hiding away until the coast is clear draws him closer to her, especially as she seems to see the real man in him.
Rescued at last, Royanne feels uncertain what to do. For Zachriel his past is revealed and he must face the truth. This truth cuts to his very soul and questions who he really is. Now he must come to terms with the lie that has been his life. Royanne fights her feelings for Zachriel. She begins to see him as a kindred spirit. There is only one thing to do reveal her love for him. Can she convince him her feelings are real and he is worth loving?
Ready for a little taste?
Fire met ice. She kissed him back with equal force, which surprised him. Does this Guardian actually want me? Her hands drifted to his hips, and he felt her grip tighten, and she brought him closer into her. Oh hell, she tastes so good. He let his tongue play with her mouth, then dart between those parted  sweet lips. Her mouth was wet and warm, just as he hoped her pussy would be when his cock entered her. He cupped her breast with one hand and found her nipple taut. Kissing down her neck, he lowered her strap down her shoulder to reveal a heavy breast waiting for him. He played with her nipples with his fingers before his mouth took over. He licked them all over, the tip of his tongue flicking backward and forward.
"Oh yes," she groaned.
Then he took her wet nipple into his mouth and sucked hard. Her hips moved with every suck. Zach wondered how wet she was. He continued sucking but used one hand to lift her dress up and brought the other hand straight to her panties. He was delighted to find them getting damp. He pulled the seam aside, and he discovered she was smooth.
"Oh, so wet for me, Royanne," he said as he kissed down her stomach.
Her mind told him she wanted his mouth where his fingers played. He tore the scrap of material away and lifted her leg over his shoulder. He hungered for her, so he went to work with his mouth and tongue. Licking around her swollen lips, he sucked her clit before letting his tongue establish a rhythm. Royanne moaned and grabbed his head, pushing her hips farther into his face. The enemy tasted divine, sweet and musky. She was so close, he could read her fully now.
But no! Control was important now. He could not let her come here in this alleyway; he needed her alone to complete his mission. He stopped and got to his feet. Her eyes were dazed, and her mind was confused.
T'nT's Confidential: Michaela Rhua
Please welcome to T'n'T's Confidential author Michaela Rhua with her F/F story Truth or Dare. I love, love her cover!
May I just start by saying thank you for letting me visit your blog.
I am really excited and nervous with this release. It is my first solo book with Evernight Publishing and my first Alternative Erotic story. It is called Truth or Dare and centres around two friends who one day go beyond friendship but all is not roses the next day.
Here is the blurb for you all to give you a flavour.
Leah and Jess have been friends for years, and having set up business together, they are even more aware of the need to keep things strictly professional. However all that changes after one drunken dare leads them to discover unbelievable passion. Who knew when friends become lovers the result would be so explosive and life altering, even if things seem different in the cold light of day. Can two friends face the truth and find happiness or was it a dare too far?
Ready for a little taste?
Leah sat shocked as Jess threw herself into an impromptu sexy routine. She began with seductive hip swinging. She threw her head down in front of Leah, and then quickly back so her golden locks fell messily around her face. Oh hell, she looked so hot.
Next came a slow unbuttoning of her shirt and Jess took her time in revealing a purple lace bra holding those full breasts in place.
Leah took a gulp of wine not believing her eyes.
Jess grabbed her breasts and squeezed them together as the song continued with its sensual lyrics.
 Leah licked her lips, wanting to lick those fulsome breasts.
 Jess took hold of the chair nearest to Leah. Standing on it, she began to unbuckle her belt, which she threw dramatically across the bar.
Leah's mouth went dry at the vision of pure sex on legs in front of her. Moisture leaked from her pussy, wetting her panties. She leaned forward in her chair. The movement created friction against her pussy. The vision before her combined with the spinning light, sensual music, and the friction of the chair was driving her to the brink of orgasm.
Jess grabbed her crotch and rubbed the area, biting her lip and closing her eyes. She began to unzip her jeans slowly, not taking her eyes off Leah.
That eye-to-eye contact sent shivers of arousal through Leah, but the combination of actions caused the sexy blonde bombshell to lose her balance. Suddenly Leah saw Jess tumble. She shot out of her seat, but she was too late to catch Jess, who hit the floor.
"Oh my God. Are you okay, Jess?" Leah looked down at her friend, who lay with eyes closed and body motionless. Panic rising inside her, she looked round to see where her phone was to call an ambulance.
Suddenly the other woman erupted into a fit of giggles, much to Leah's relief.
"Seriously, Jess, I thought you hit your head or something!"  Leah moaned, letting relief wash over her now that she realized her friend wasn’t hurt. Her heartbeat was just returning to normal.
Jess held out her hand to Leah. Their fingers meshed together and Jess pull her down to the floor.
 As blue eyes held her own, Leah knew her breathing had become uneven. Was this the dream she had longed to come true for so long? The club was silent. The track had finished. The disco lights spun, a shower of multi-colored lights creating a magical space around them.
Leah lowered her head down. It was a now or never moment. She looked at her friend with her halo of golden hair spread around her. She looked like an angel on the midnight floor.
 Jess' eyes softened the closer she got. Leah's lips hovered over hers. She licked them slowly before kissing Jess passionately. She felt Jess' hands in her hair, holding their lips together. She wants this as much as I do. Leah stroked Jess' hair while her other hand went to her breast, squeezing and massaging.
Jess spread her legs under Leah and wrapped them around her, drawing her closer.
Leah ground her hips into Jess, enjoying the friction. She pinched a nipple, eliciting a groan from the woman beneath her. She moved from her lips to her neck, licking and biting the delicate skin down to her breasts. She sucked the hardened nipple though the lace and Jess' moans became louder, her hands holding the back of Leah's head to her breast.
Leah took her time enjoying the body she had longed to make love to. Her pussy was wet, but she wanted to focus on Jess' needs not her own. She went from one nipple to the other before pulling the bra up to reveal full breasts with pink, wet nipples. She squeezed the breasts together, drawing both nipples into the center, then licked a trail from one to another.
Jess squirmed under her, gasping with each lick.
Leah kissed down her flat stomach to her hips. Her zipper was halfway down so Leah unzipped it completely, revealing matching lace undies. She pulled at the jeans.
Jess sat up a little to help ease them off, removing her shirt and bra at the same time.
She lay down and Leah drank in the sight of her creamy skin, pink in places where she had sucked or gently bitten. She buried her head between Jess' legs, and she found the lace was wet with the other woman's juices. Leah sucked her clit through the lace, enjoying the taste of her.
T n'T's Confidential: Michaela Rhua
 Welcome to another T n'T's Confidential post! Today, I've got author Michaela Rhua answering a few questions about her writing and about herself. Michaela is one of the authors of ARE best selling anthology The Eclipse of The Blood Moon.
Michaela Rhua is a doctor's wife who lives life at odd hours depending on when her husband is on call. She had been known to be up and about at 2 am working on her next erotic tale.
She has three teenage children; twin boys aged seventeen and a daughter aged fifteen, who also keep her busy. However, it is whilst travelling on the train into work that she has time to create her characters and imagine other places in which they exist as her world skims by the window. Conversations overheard often lead to the birth of new ideas that she scribbles down in her trusty notebook.
Let's find out a little more...
Where does the inspiration for your stories come from?
Inspiration is everywhere. I travel to work on the train and often I overhear bits of conversations.  The spark ideas that I jot down in my notebook that I always carry. I work as a surgery manager for a group of doctors. It's a great place where patients often want to talk about themselves and their lives.  So on the way home I watch life go by through the window and imagine away.
What is your favorite writing genre?
I cannot say what is my favourite. The Eclipse of the Blood Moon is an erotic paranormal. I must say I do like paranormal because you can put scenes together and let your imagination go.
 What would you never ever consider writing?
I am not sure. I think saying never ever is something you come to take back later. The obvious no go areas are sexual scenes where children are involved or animals or bodily fluids that are considered waste products.
Do you do anything special before sitting down to write?
Make a cup of tea, get the chocolate out and if needed put some music on.
What is your desired effect on readers?
I hope that readers become immersed in the story, feeling involved and spirited along on the journey with my characters
Halloween is tomorrow! Tell me...
The craziest thing you’ve done on All Hollow’s Eve
I suppose the craziest evening would be a story best told by my husband and a very interesting little devil outfit
Your all time favorite horror film?
Bram Stoker's Dracula. I love the way the director tell the story of the anguished Dracula looking for his lost love. Beautifully shot and atmospheric.
Your favorite paranormal creature?
A shifter. I like the idea of the animalistic side of an Alpha male that is just underneath the surface!
Your favorite treat?
Chocolate and good wine.
Thank you, Michaela!
