By Lynn Burke

Release Date: September 3, 2019

#BDSM #Erotic #Romance #Billionaire #Series #HEA

Blurb:

As part of the British peerage, Jordan Graystone knows what it’s like to live in the public eye. Which is why he holds hard limits when it comes to scening with submissives—no kissing, no penetration. Both lead to unwanted emotions and women attempting to take more than he’s willing to give.
Entrusted with the care of raising her younger sister is a responsibility Natalie Perez doesn’t take lightly. She focuses solely on her troubled ward, putting aside her own desires even when confronted with the temptation Jordan promises—fulfilling her fantasies to be bound and worshiped upon an old church’s altar.
Secretly snapping a photo ends in a confrontation that arouses Natalie to the point of turmoil—and Jordan past the point of caring about limits. He’s determined to give Natalie the release she needs, but her obligation threatens to rip apart his plans for more than their agreed upon one night.
Will Natalie’s selfless dedication to her sister be the key to bind her and Jordan together or the fault that tears them apart?

EXCERPT:

A flick of the lights flooded the room in brightness, and I blinked until he dimmed them enough I could glance around the church’s interior. It appeared the same as the first time I’d trespassed—dark and seductive, the excitement of the unknown heightening my pulse and breath.
Jordan released my hand, and I clutched my arms around my middle as he flipped the switch on a lone electric candle in the front window.
“To let others know the church is occupied,” he explained once he turned to find my brow furrowed in question. He took his time lighting candles around the room, and eventually flicked off the dimmed overhead lights and stood before me.
A shudder rippled over me at the look in his eyes, a darker blue, like the sky at twilight, full of unknown, lurking shadows. He stared at my lips and tugged me close. I dropped my arms to my sides, unsure of what to do but trusting him to tell me.
“We need to talk about a few things first, okay, love?”
The pet name, the accent in his low tone, nearly buckled my knees. I managed a nod, swallowing against the dryness in my throat as I stared at his lips.
“Do you have any experience in this lifestyle?”
I shook my head.
“Are you a virgin?”
Heat flooded my cheeks, and even though I’d only experienced sex a handful of times, I’d never enjoyed it as the women in the eBooks Lily insisted I read. I shook my head once more, too embarrassed to admit the truth of my lackluster sex life.
“Do you know what a safeword is?” he continued with the questioning, and my face heated even more at memories of the last book I’d devoured the evening before.
“Like traffic lights?” I whispered.
A twinkle lit in his eyes. “Yes. Tell me what each color means.”
“Green means go.” I swallowed. “Yellow is slow down, I need to think. Red means stop.”
He nodded. “You’re in control, Natalie. I will learn your body, your tells, but you decide what will or won’t happen tonight, okay, love?”
He would learn my body…
God, yes.
I nodded.
“Tell me—” Jordan turned me to face the room, his hands on my waist as he pressed against my back, his chin on my shoulder “—what part of this room excites you the most?”
Gulping, I glanced at the altar. “Everything,” I whispered rather than admit to the truth.
“Instruments of pain?”
The rack of items including a crop and flogger snagged my attention, but I wasn’t sure about pain other than the idea of his hand prints on my backside.
“The cross?”
I eyed the St. Andrew’s cross, flinching at the memory of a woman I’d read about being strapped to such a contraption, angry red marks across her thighs and lower back.
“The bed?”
Rings on the sturdy posts drew my focus, and I licked my lower lip.
“The altar?”
My breath caught, nipples aching as I studied the table meant for worshiping God and the ungodly images flashing in my head of being tied down—open and unable to move. Bound for a dominant’s pleasure—Jordan’s pleasure.
“Mmm.” His hot breath caressed my ear. “You do want to be strapped down to the altar, don’t you?”
I jerked my head in agreement, a million butterflies fluttering my stomach.
Jordan steered me closer with his hands on my hips, stopping me right in front of the padded altar. Coils of rope sat atop it, and I gulped at the thought of abrasions on my wrists and ankles—not that I had any intention of fighting whatever he wished to do to me.
“Tell me what you want, Natalie,” he said, his breath once again hot against my ear.
Dare I? I hesitated, embarrassed to admit what I’d fantasized about. My gaze flitted to the bed once more and the lengths of black silk draped over the bed’s foot.
“Answer me.”
I jerked my focus back on the altar and flicked my tongue out to moisten my lips. “Bind me, Sir.”

Book Spotlight on Freddie Duet by Kiru Taye@KiruTaye @LoveBitesSilk

Freddie Duet by Kiru Taye
Series: The Essiens #6 & #7
Genre: Romantic Suspense, Women's Fiction

Reading Order:

FREDDIE ENTANGLED - BLURB
Violence marked Freddie Edun's early years. Coming to work for the Essiens saved him from the angry young man he was and gave him focus. Now he's walking the path of success, and partnership in Banks Security business is within reach. He just has to seal this deal with a potential customer first. Until he meets the client's wife, and the deal risks taking a nose dive.

Kike Ogun married young to a man who dazzled her with his bogus charm. She’s lived like a caged bird for many years, but with a looming milestone birthday on the horizon, she is determined to walk a new path of self-love. If she could just ignore the electrifying and forbidden attraction she feels towards a younger man from the first moment they meet.

With a devious husband who refuses to let go, she’s going to need help—Freddie’s protection—to stay alive long enough to celebrate her upcoming birthday. And she’s going to have to give in to her dark passion for him and finally unleash the natural woman inside. If it's only sex, then what's love got to do it?

This story unravels in two instalments—this is the first part.

EXCERPT
“Did you know that your gateman believes that God guards your house?” Freddie’s words cut into her thoughts, drawing her attention back to him. “And therefore, he doesn’t have to do anything more than just opening and closing the gates?”
Kike sighed. She remained aware of the lackadaisical attitude towards security around here. As if by being a pastor, her husband and anyone associated with him became bulletproof.
“I know. It’s part of the reason I don’t feel safe,” she replied in a monotone voice. “Sometimes, I feel as if I’m going to be murdered in my sleep and everybody is going to dismiss it as the will of God.”
Freddie stopped the car just after he went past the main gates leading out of the estate. He turned in his seat and stared at her, eyebrows drawn together. “Do you feel that unsafe? Did someone threaten you?”
Damn. Why had she blurted that out? She shouldn’t have spoken those words out loud. She’d never said anything like that to anyone before. And she certainly shouldn’t have said it to Freddie.
She avoided eye contact, and her gaze bounced around the car interior before settling on a spot beyond the windscreen at the high fence surrounding the building across the road. She clenched her hands into fists and closed her eyes, counting between inhales and exhales.
“Mrs. Ogun, is there something I should know?”
“Look, Freddie—“” Saying his name felt very intimate like she knew him on a personal level, which she didn’t. He was just a man looking to provide a service to her and her family. She needed to remember that. She avoided his searching gaze. He seemed able to discover things she hid. Not to mention the ease with which she had confided in him. “Forget I said that. It was nothing.”
“It’s not nothing.”
Cool palm covered the bare skin on her wrist. Her pulse jumped, her skin electrified, and her breath hitched. She turned her head so quickly that she felt woozy, the disorientation made worse when she met his gaze.
His eyes were full of questions, concern, and compassion. He looked at her as if he’d understood her fears even before she’d spoken them.
What was going on with her? He didn’t know her. Couldn’t know her. And he was never going to get the chance to know her.
“Just drive.” She ordered, forced herself to look away again, and tried to tug her arm free. He didn’t let her go. She swallowed as her skin flushed.
“Kike.”
Her heart skipped a beat. Her name on his lips was beautiful, like a plea whispered by an old lover rather than a man she hardly knew. The low timbre vibrated through her, making her core throb. Her skin tingled where he held her. She was certain he could feel her racing pulse underneath his thumb.
Did he know that his restraint excited her?
She closed her eyes and held her breath. An image of him caging her with his body popped into her mind.
Her eyes flew open, and she raised her palms to cover her face.  So she’d become starved of a lover’s affection in the past few years. But did she desperately miss the touch of a man enough to forget herself? That she would ache for the first man who inadvertently pushed her needy buttons?
“You shouldn’t call me that.” Her breathy reprimand came out weak, more to remind herself that she was just a client to him than to prompt him of his status.
“You can tell me anything,” he said, his enticing voice filled with empathy. “You can trust me. What I said in your house is true. I will protect you from any threat.”
“Okay.” Her voice croaked, and she swallowed.
“So will you tell me what’s going on?” he probed.
Her first impulse was to tell him the truth. To bare her soul to him. His soothing tone felt almost magical and inspired trust.
Breaking the habit of a lifetime proved difficult. She’d hidden things about herself from other people for years. When people found out things about her, all she ever got back were judgements and criticisms. The only person who ever really understood her was Lekan. See how that had turned out.
“Nothing is going on.” She still didn’t meet his gaze. At least this way, he wouldn’t know she was telling a lie.
He didn’t say anything for several racing heartbeats.

“Okay. When you decide to talk, I’ll be here to listen. Any time of day.” He pressed the ignition knob, indicated, and pulled out of the junction, heading to Yomi’s school.

FREDDIE UNTANGLED - BLURB
Kike has struggled for years to break out of the chains of her marriage to Lekan. After moving out of the Ogun estate, she has to cope with condemnation not just from family and friends but from unseen followers as the story of her relationship with Freddie becomes media fodder. She’s finally free to love a man who loves her but is she about to lose everything else that matters to her?

Freddie has a new family—Kike and the kids—and he has to pull out all the stops if he is to outwit a powerful sociopathic pastor as well as and deal with ghosts from his past that come to haunt him. He will do whatever it takes to keep the woman he loves safe but the price might be his sanity and his life.

Lekan is not about to give up on a woman he sees as his property and uses every weapon in his arsenal to get Kike back, including following through on the threats he made.

With the odds stacked up against Kike and Freddie, is a happy future together even possible? Will they ever be out of Lekan’s reach?

This story unravels in two instalments—this is the second part and not a standalone.

EXCERPT

Freddie turned to Kike who stood at the still locked front door with a contemplative expression.
“Shall I do the honours?” He stretched his hands out for the keys.
She handed them over. “I feel as if I should cut a ribbon or something.”
He found the right key and inserted it into the lock, twisting until it clicked. He shoved the heavy slab inwards.
“I feel as if I should carry you over the threshold.” Smiling, he winked at her.
She chuckled. “That would imply that we’re newly-weds.”
“A guy can dream, can’t he? Ladies, first.” He gave an exaggerated bow and waved his hand with flourish.
“As you wish, Gentleman.” This time she winked at him.
He could swear she emphasised the word ‘Gentleman’ on purpose which had his pulse racing and his cock hardening. Surely she didn’t know how much the word affected his mind and body.
Groaning, he followed her indoors and discretely tried to adjust the swelling in his jeans.
“I can help you with that.” She glanced back and tipped her head at his groin. Oh, she definitely knew exactly what her provocative words did to him.
“Lady,” he growled in warning. “Be careful what you wish for. Because that sassy mouth of yours is writing a cheque your ass is going to cash later.”
Her eyes widened but the teasing smile didn’t go away. She batted her long dark lashes innocently. “But what did I do?”
He closed the gap between them and she moved back. “You know exactly what you’re doing. Agreement or not, I know when someone is begging to be spanked and I’ll be more than happy to oblige you, right here, right now.”
Her back hit the wall as he caged her into the corner by the stairs, his hands splayed on either side of her head. He shoved his knee between her thighs, spreading them out.
Through her loose-fitting, merlot, linen trousers, the heat from her crotch burned him. The pulse on her collar thumped fast and her pink tongue darted, swiping her bottom lip. She wanted that spanking. He could see it in her bright gaze fixed on him.
By his calculation, she hadn’t had sex in close to two months. So she would be as ready to combust as he was. He wasn’t averse to dishing out some sexy torture.
Grinning wolfishly, he leaned forward and brushed his lips on her left ear lobe. “Go ahead, kitten,” he spoke low and against her smooth skin. “Taunt me some more. Make my day. Let’s christen this house with the cracks from my palm on your lovely behind.”
He pinched her bottom with his left hand. With his right hand, he tugged her nipple through her pink t-shirt.
Her breath hitched and she rocked her hips, rubbing her crotch on his knee. “Plea—”
“Oga Freddie,” one of the moving men interrupted her.
“Hold on, I’m coming.” Freddie replied as he pulled away from Kike.
Her head was tilted back, exposing her neck. Eyes closed and mouth open as she panted, she looked partially debauched. Sensually corrupted was a state he wanted to see her in often in this house. She’d been ready to plead for something. He looked forward to a time when they could explore their connection uninterrupted.

“Welcome to your new home, kitten.” He pressed his lips to her forehead and left her to tidy up as he went to deal with the movers.

#TNTConfidential 12 Days of Christmas- GIVEAWAY-Day 11: Victoria Adams & A Holiday Anthology

Welcome lovelies! Day 11 is here in #TNTConfidential 12 Days of Christmas.

This is the second to last entry before the prizes are given away on December 25th. Christmas is around the corner and excitement is zinging in the air! Read on and welcome today's author Victoria Adams and her family friendly anthology.

What is your favorite thing about the Holidays?

The way that for a few days everyone is nice to each other. Perfect strangers wish each other Merry Christmas.  People smile.

What inspired you to write your book?

I belong to a group called Exquisite Quills – short version - one of the founding members had a brainstorm and put out the call for short holiday themed stories. My story Christmas Knight was the first short story I've ever written. I'm currently editing a book down from 120,000 words so being limited to 2,000 was a fun challenge. I tried to think out of the box on this one, so I set it on a cruise ship. My heroine is an entertainer on the ship. Thinking again – OUT of the box- she's a belly dancer. My hero – all we really learn are his initials are S.C. and he disappears on December 25 because he's "a bit" busy. There are tears, dancing, fun, romance and hot chocolate with marshmallows.

Share a Holiday anecdote with the readers

My favourite Christmas memory is from a long time ago. I was about sixteen. A family friend's older daughter had recently married and together they had a bit more than nothing; in terms of wedding gifts they got the bare essentials. He was working as an apprentice to a mechanic and I think she was part time at something - not much in the line of disposable income. A few days before Christmas I dropped by and there were no decorations. I asked if she wanted help putting up her decorations. She said she and her husband agreed to buy each other one gift and it had to be under $5. She was excited because she'd saved the money and was going shopping for the gift on Christmas Eve Day.

My mother was a member of an arts group and they had their Christmas sale

and then party that same day. Mom and I were cleaning up. She'd tossed a couple of decorations into the garbage while complaining she wished they had storage space because it was so wasteful to buy the things every year and then throw them out.

Yup, the light bulb went on over my head. We arranged with my friend's Mom to get them out of the apt on Christmas Eve. Then we took all the decorations and fully decorated tree from the party to their apartment and decorated the place. We left a note on the table – From Santa.

Her mom said that when my friend walked in to a fully decorated apartment with lights glowing and a lit tree, she turned, threw her arms around her husband's neck and screamed, "There really is a Santa Claus!"

To this day – that memory brings a smile to my soul.

#TNTConfidential 12 Days of Christmas- GIVEAWAY- Day 10: Melissa Hosack & Saving Santa

Day 10 is here! Let's Give Melissa Hosack a warm welcome in today's #TNTConfidential 12 Days of Christmas!

What is your favorite thing about the Holidays? –

My favorite thing about the holidays right now, hands down, is my son. He just turned four in November, and everything about the holiday is exciting for him. He’s made me feel like a kid again myself! Every Christmas carol is fun for him. Every holiday special is new and thrilling. Wrapping gifts is an exhilarating secret. Every little aspect of the holiday is magical for him. This has been an amazing Christmas season for my family. One I won’t forget any time soon.

What inspired you to write your book? –

I had the idea and wanted to go for something very unique. I wanted more than the girl meets boy and falls in love around Christmas time. In my story, Santa is real. He’s smoking hot and a bit domineering. It was fun to take the classic holiday figure and spin him into a sexy stud. I felt it was a nice holiday story for those of us adults that still love everything about the holidays and would enjoy a very magical, yet sexy story. I was inspired by the challenge to write such a thing.

Share a Holiday anecdote with the readers –

The Christmas story I would like to share with my readers is from my childhood. It isn’t one specific date but a tradition. When I was young, I remember spending part of every Christmas Eve at my grandparent’s house. When it got dark, my grandmother would tell us that Santa was on his way, but we couldn’t be at the house when he stopped by, or he wouldn’t be able to leave the presents. So every year, me, my siblings, and my two cousins would get all of our winter apparel on and take a car ride with my parents. We’d drive around and look at all the Christmas lights. We’d ‘ooh’ and ‘ahh’ for a while, all of us secretly amping up over the possibility of gifts upon our return. After about fifteen minutes, we’d head back to my grandparent’s house. Wouldn’t you know it, every year when we got back, Santa had arrived and the presents we received at grandma’s were under the tree waiting for us! Somehow, every year, we were all completely fooled by this ruse. We thought it was so magical and exciting that we’d missed Santa by only minutes! Yet we’d also feel so terribly relieved that we’d left the house just in time. It was a fun, silly tradition that has stuck with me through the years. I look forward to creating my own silly traditions with my son.

Saving Santa

Cara Faulk has always loved Christmas and delights in anything related to the holiday season, but even she finds it odd when two elves show up at her door offering her a paid vacation. As they approach their destination—the North Pole—things get even stranger. Cara is informed that the elves would like her to seduce Santa, because Christmas is in need of a Mrs. Clause.

Extremely reluctant about this new adventure, Cara is thrown once again when she is berated and hollered at in the elf workshop by none other than Chris Kringle himself. She doesn’t know what is more shocking, the fact that Santa is drop dead gorgeous or that he’s arrogant, self-centered, and anti-social.

Despite their less than stellar introduction, Cara finds she can’t resist Chris.  His life is enchanting, and his dedication to his work humbling. She finds herself drawn to him despite his egotism and their frequent shouting matches. The two dance back and forth between a love/hate relationship. Neither wishes to marry or be a part of the elves’ plot, but they can’t seem to keep their hands off of one another. As the holiday’s end draws near, Cara is torn with giving up Chris and the magical life she’s been introduced to and admitting that she might just be falling in love with Santa.

#TNTConfidential 12 Days of Christmas - GIVEAWAY- Day 9- Freddy Mackay & Finding Home 1 and 2

Day 9! Already?! Santa will soon be here, but meanwhile the lovely Freddy MacKay is substituing him in today's  #TNTConfidential 12 Days of Christmas!

What is your favorite thing about the Holidays?

My favorite thing about the holidays is the time people make for others. Family and friends remember how important we are to each other and make that extra effort to show their love and appreciation for one another.

What inspired you to write your book?

Snowed In: Finding Home 2 was inspired by a message from a friend. I don't honestly remember the message but it made me think of what would Geeves do if he had o go Christmas shopping by himself. ;)

Share a Holiday anecdote with the readers

Elyzabeth asked us to share a holiday story with all of you. I wish I could share pictures of my Christmas story, but sadly, I cannot. Not due to the lack of pictures, however. The problem was, I had nothing to take pictures of. What pictures you ask? You know how when the family gathers around the Christmas trees and gives each others gifts and someone is there snapping pictures of half asleep adults desperately trying to stay awake long enough to experience the children's enthusiastic responses to the new toys they got? Yeah. Those. Well, if you don't happen to get any presents from your family or Santa that year, then you don't get your picture taken. That's right. My family forgot to get me any presents. They all thought someone else had gone and gotten something for me. And Santa forgot too. Now don't get to upset. Once my family realized what happened, they did feel awful, and I made out like a bandit the next Christmas. ;)

Snowed In: Finding Home 2

Home for the Holidays. Always good times, no?

A short Christmas trip home should be more relaxing for Geeves and Max than their normal graduate school studies. At least, it was supposed to be. Unfortunately, Max's sister, Courtney, has had an abrupt change in attitude and behavior, making the once amenable teenager a nightmare to deal with. Geeves's ex-boyfriend popping up at an inopportune time doesn't help matters.

A shopping trip to the mall proves to be Geeves's downfall, though, when his heart makes a purchase that will change all of their lives. A purchase that sends Courtney running smack dab into a snowstorm and Geeves chasing after the confused girl.

Snowed In: Finding Home 2 is the sequel to the story Moving Mountains: Finding Home 1.

Nerd. Geek. Dense. Stupid. Social reject. George had heard it all growing up. Being an Aspy, a person with Aspergers, he had gotten used to never fitting in and not understanding people. His doctorate became his life, and unexpectedly, so did a fellow grad student in his lab. But when the relationship ended with George getting dumped unceremoniously by email and left to handle the gossip alone, George wasn't sure his heart could handle being in a relationship again and decided it was best to focus on his thesis.

A year later things hadn't changed. Well, except a restlessness eating away at George that had started six months earlier. A field research trip to gather more data might just be the thing he needs. Luckily his friend and lab assistant, Max, is out in the field with him. Little did he know this trip would change their relationship permanently, something his heart might not be ready for.

About Freddy

I grew up and went to college in the Midwest where I currently reside with my family. I spend most of my time playing sports and running around outside. And honestly, that much has not changed since I was little, except who is included my activities. I also have a healthy geocaching addiction. It's so much fun! I enjoy spending my time traveling when I can, and I hold the view that a person should continually to learn about new things and people whenever possible.

#TNTConfidential 12 Days of Christmas- GIVEAWAY- Day 8: Carlene Love Flores & Sin's Flower

Please welcome Carlene Love Flores on Day 8 of #TNTConfidential 12 Days of Christmas!

Hi everyone! I’m so happy to be here because we’re celebrating two of my favorite things, Christmas and Red Hot Romance Novels! I hope today finds you all snuggly warm and with lots of time for reading. Cheers!

There’s so much to love about the holidays, but my favorite part is getting out of the house at night and driving around looking at all the lights. There’s a special kind of magic in those lights. When I can snag someone else to drive, a cup of cocoa makes it five thousand times better!

Sin’s Flower is the second book in my Sin Pointe series and so in a way it was inspired by the first book, Sidewalk Flower. The way that first book ended so happily for the couple was wonderful but it left Jaxon in such misery. I had to go back and find a way for Jaxon, give him something good worth fighting for. It turned out that I had a blast with him, even though he made me blush at just about every turn. I’m so glad we plunged through it and made his Christmas pretty sweet. Oh, one quick hot tid bit…I had many a sexy man inspire Jaxon, but a huge part of his rawness came from the beautiful and expressive face of Jeremy Renner. Yum, right?

I’ve been thinking and thinking, trying to come up with a real-life holiday story to share and I keep coming back to the craziness that happened in my area a few years ago. I’d just moved to the Washington DC area and being a San Diego Native, I was (and still am) a weather wimp. And then…Snowmageddon hit! It was just crazy and on the day it hit, I had a San Diego cousin flying in to spend Christmas with me. Her flight didn’t get cancelled like I assumed it would. Weather wimps have to stick together so there was no way I was leaving her stranded at the airport. To this day I have no idea how I got to the airport and then back home with her. But I bet you it was the one and only time I have driven out here in zero traffic!

I can’t wait for one lucky winner to take Mr. Jaxon James home with them! My prize is an ecopy of his story, Sin’s Flower (A Sin Pointe Novel, #2). Good luck and Thank You to Elyzabeth for being such a lovely hostess to us all! Merry Christmas to everyone and to everyone a good and spicy romance book!

When Jaxon James, a sexy rock star and struggling single-father, is invited to ditch California and spend Christmas in Tennessee with his estranged family, he hesitantly accepts for his young daughter’s sake.  But his attraction to his best friend’s baby sister, Lily Elstone, threatens to unravel the bonds he’s made for his daughter.  The honorable thing to do would be to give up Lily.  But his instincts are telling him she’s exactly the one who could bring light to his life and the missing fire to his bed.  Unfortunately, Lily's too sweet for his world.  He fears his rock and roll life style will taint her.   How far are Jaxon and Lily willing to go to find what’s missing at home?

About Carlene:
Carlene Love Flores is a big fan of the stars (especially Orion), honest music (especially Depeche Mode), and her travelling family (no favorites there-she loves them all). These things have always inspired her to think up edgy, intimate love stories and continue to do so. If she could touch someone’s heart with her writing the way others have done for her, she’d say truly there never lived a luckier girl.
