When you live forever...--#weekendwritingwarriors #sexysnippets from The Beauty of Forever #vampires #romance #fantasy

Happy Sunday, guys!

Last week I was unable to participate because I went to visit some family members who were traveling through Barcelona. It was so nice to see them <3

As for today's snippet, I'm currently going through a crisis regarding the last story I shared with you guys and I'm pretty much despising it. Sigh.

So, today, I'm sharing a random snippet from The Beauty of Forever. I recently got a great review for it (You can read it here) and it's a story I love. <3 Christopher's life view particularly calls to me now.

Hope you enjoy it!

"When you live forever, the world around you loses its fascination. The colors become drab. Lawrence found beauty in everything because it was all ephemeral. Nothing lasted. Nothing would last.
Except me. For a while, I was interesting, new, and then, the next beautiful thing came by.”

“I’m sorry,” she said earnestly, placing her palm over his.

Christopher shook his head.

“It stopped mattering a long time ago.”

The Beauty of Forever

Picture

Once dead, always dead.

Christopher Beaufort works in what could easily be the most cheerful place on earth, Santa’s Christmas Realm, but as a vampire, he is nothing more than a shadow among the living.
Worn out by the demands of his job as Chief Toy Officer, Santa assigns a human woman to help him, Samantha Kraus. Tantalized by the fiery red-head, Christopher makes it his business to seduce her, but as he does, something within him begins to stir.

Life is a gift in which every moment counts.

When Samantha Kraus accepted the job of assistant manager at Santa’s, she expected elves, fairies and maybe some shifters, but definitely not vampires, and least of all did she imagine her boss would be one of them or that she’d be attracted to him.

Though she tries to remain professional, Samantha finds herself falling for Christopher. But, can a vampire’s heart ever beat again?

I can almost taste your blood-- #MidWeekTease from The Beauty of Forever #vampire #paranormal #fantasy @evernightpub

Happy Hump day, lovelies and happy first Mid-week tease of 2018!

I'm really cold today, so I decided to choose another snippet from The Beauty of Forever, which might warm us all up.

 Enjoy!

Samantha’s heart pounded. Christopher’s lips trailed a path down her neck, alternating between kissing, nipping, and sucking. Her sex clenched with desperate need.

In quick strides, he moved them to the couch. He settled her over his lap, so she straddled him. Cupping her face, he kissed her again, while shoving a hand up her shirt and palming her breast. She
bucked against Christopher, searching for the friction which would
take her over the edge.

“More,” she demanded, tugging at his bottom lip.

The pearl-like buttons of her blouse ricocheted against the floor. Her hard nipples puckered further. Christopher tugged down her bra cup, exposing it to his sight. Lowering his mouth, he sucked in the
turgid nub. Her fingers tangled in his hair, holding him there. Christopher plucked her other nipple. Samantha jerked. Pleasure sizzled through her veins, centering on her swollen clit.

“More.”

She tore at Christopher’s shirt, desperate for the feel of his skin against hers. He shrugged out of it. Her breath caught. His upper body glistened with sinewy muscles.

“God, you’re built.”

His low chuckle startled her. “You’ve seen nothing yet, doll.”

Undoing her bra, he discarded the garment to one side and nuzzled her breasts. Holding them, he kneaded the flesh, heightening her arousal.

“I can feel your heartbeat,” he rumbled. “And I can almost taste your blood. It’s racing through you. Here.”

He grazed one of her nipples with his teeth. Samantha cried out.

“Coursing in your veins.” Christopher skimmed her stomach. “To your cunt.”

He snuck his hand beneath her skirt, cupping her drenched pussy.

“Can you imagine if I bit you here, doll?” He painted lazy circles across her labia.

Samantha moaned.

“It’d be a feast.” His lips twisted into a devious grin. “Maybe we should try," he said.

You're going to burn -- #MidWeekTease from The Beauty of Forever #vampire #paranormal #fantasy #holidayread

Happy Hump day, lovelies!

Once again the last few weeks have been crazy, but I'm finally on holiday. Yay! Christmas has come and gone and now we're all waiting for New Year's. Do you have any resolutions?

Today, I'm sharing another snippet from  The Beauty of Forever. I'm a little cold, so I figured I'd share a nice, hot snippet with you all.

 Enjoy! and Happy 2018!

“Christopher, answer me. Why—?”

He didn’t hear the rest of the question. It was always the same.

Why are you like this? Why aren’t you different? And the answer couldn’t be more obvious.

He was on Samantha in two strides, forcing her to back up against the desk. Her fear hung heavy in the air, mingling with the sweet aroma of her blood as it flowed to her extremities. Hunger clawed at him painfully. Christopher bared his fangs. Samantha’s hand shot out to push him away, but the warm contact of her palm against him fueled his longing to an unbearable pitch.

“Isn’t it evident?” he growled. “I’m a beast, Samantha.”

She shook her head. “No.”

Christopher pressed against her, relishing the weight of her fingertips and the way her nails dug into him.

“No? Then why are you trembling, doll?”

He moved her hair aside, bringing her neck to his view. Her vein pulsed frantically, calling to him to dig in.

“Christopher—”

His gaze shot to her face and what he saw undid him. Christopher slammed his lips down on her. Fireworks exploded, sending sparks across every part of him and coming to rest on his rapidly thickening cock. Samantha moaned into his mouth, tugging on his bottom bow and ratcheting his arousal.

“You’re going to burn,” he choked, cupping her ass and lifting her to the edge of the table.

Samantha grabbed the lapels of his jacket and pulled him toward her. She wrapped her legs around his waist.

“Good. I’ve gotten tired of the cold.”

She licked the seam of his lips. Christopher groaned. Fisting her hair, he angled her head and devoured her. The smell of her arousal hung heavy in the air. Christopher thrust against the layers of clothes separating them. Samantha whimpered.

He snaked a hand between them. Finding the elastic of her panties, he shoved them aside and slid two digits into her, finding her wet.

“You like playing with fire.”

Her body bowed in response. Christopher pumped his fingers in and out. Samantha threw her head back, biting her lip in an attempt to quiet her sexy mewls.

“Tell me you want me,” he demanded. “Look me in the eye and tell me, Samantha.”

Running her hands down his arms, she gave him a gaze glazed with lust.

“I don’t want you,” she said.

The ache in his chest returned, stealing his breath.

“I need you,” she declared.

The pang scattered, leaving behind a dull throb which energized him.

“You’ve made a grave mistake,” he said.

He leaned over to press the button to the last floor and his fragrance filled her lungs. Winter oranges and cloves. Heat touched every pore in her body, slowly churning and awakening to the presence of the man at her side. She peeked at him from beneath her lashes. Tall, probably around six-foot-four, he was slender with an air of elegance which spoke of times long gone. He appeared to be in his mid- or early-thirties. His features, from the chiseled cheekbones, straight nose, firm lips, to masculine jaw were flawless, sculpted by the hand of a master. The elevator lurched to a stop. The doors chimed and opened slowly, revealing a reception area decorated in greens, reds, and whites, to the side, a large fir tree glistened with fairy lights.
 “Welcome to Santa’s office.”

“Your body speaks loud and clear -- #MidWeekTease from The Beauty of Forever (A Christmas Realm Tale) #vampire #paranormal #fantasy #holidayread

Happy Hump day, lovelies!

Apologies for having gone missing the last few weeks. I don't know why but November has been a crazy month for me. I've had this perpetual feeling of rushing everywhere and not really getting anywhere. Let's hope December is different.

To begin with, today I'm sharing a snippet from my just released story, The Beauty of Forever (A Christmas Realm Tale). I'm so in love with this story and their characters.

 Enjoy!

He offered her his arm, but she refused. Christopher clenched his jaw. Her rejection hurt more than he anticipated, but he strode forward, leading the way into Main Street.
“It’s just, well, it’s unseemingly, Christopher.”
He chuckled. “It’d been a while since I’d heard anyone use that word.” He pointed to the diner further down the street. A big wooden sign shaped and painted like snowcapped mountains read Ginger Pyrenees.
“We’re going there. They make delicious food and cater to vampires.”
“You’ll have to agree with me,” Samantha continued as if he hadn’t spoken. “I’m sure if Andy had overslept you’d be screaming at him, not taking him out to breakfast.”
Christopher stopped and faced Samantha.
“You’re right,” he snapped.
She glared at him, hands on her hips. “You don’t deny it.”
“Why would I? I thought I’d expressed my feelings for you quite plainly.”
Samantha scowled. “Christopher, I thought I’d made myself clear when I told you—”
“Samantha,” he said, inching closer. The reaction was immediate. She dropped her arms to her side and tilted her head to look at him. Her skin flushed and her eyes glossed over. “It’s one thing what you tell me and another very different what your body is telling me.”
“And what might that be?”
Was she even aware of the seductive tone of her voice?
Christopher ran his fingertip across her jaw. The pulse on her neck quickened. He licked his lips. It’d be so easy to dip his head and kiss her again. He leaned in closer. Her eyes drifted shut. She could fight him all she wanted, but her actions spoke louder than her words. She wouldn’t turn him down.
“Do you really want me to demonstrate here, doll?” he whispered against her mouth.
Her eyes opened and she sucked in a lungful of air with a loud hiss. Christopher grinned and pulled back. Her dazed expression lasted another thirty seconds before she replaced it by a mask of fury.
“You’re an idiot.”
Christopher laughed.

“Your body speaks loud and clear, Samantha, even if you deny it.” He tapped her nose. “Come on, doll. Let’s get something to eat.”

“I always bite without permission.”-- #weekendwritingwarriors and #sexysnippets from The Beauty of Forever #vampires #comingsoon #holidayromance

Happy Sunday, everyone!
Sorry to have disappeared just like that, but November has been insane. I didn’t finish Nanowrimo (barely made it to 8000 words) and have had that perpetual feeling of running around from one place to another without really accomplishing anything. Let’s hope December is better. :)
Today I’m sharing a snippet from my upcoming release, The Beauty of Forever (A Christmas Realm Tale). I’m absolutely in love with the cover and the hero of this story. You might remember him and the heroine from previous snippets back when the story was a WIP.
In this snippet, they’re in an elevator heading to Christopher’s office. He’s just overheard a receptionist tell Samantha that he won’t bite without permission.
Enjoy!

“She isn’t right, you know.”
“What?” She looked up at him with eyes wide, like a deer caught in headlights.
“I always bite without permission.”
He swept his gaze across her figure, she flushed and clutched her purse to her chest like a shield.
“There’s nothing as exhilarating as the pleasure of hunting down prey.” The elevator jolted to a stop and the doors slowly slid open. “But don’t worry, doll, I promised Santa I’d keep my fangs to myself.” He smiled broadly. “After you.”

The promise of a rendevouz-- #WeekendWritingWarriors and #SexySnippets from my WIP #vampires #amwriting #romance

Happy Sunday, lovelies!

Another crazy work week which has made progress on the novel extremely slow. Sigh. But your comments cheer me on and inspire me to move forward!

Now, on to the snippet! Lots of editing has taken place to keep to guidelines. I'm continuing from where I left last week. Christopher has just said:

"Hello, Samantha."

Enjoy!

His sultry, baritone wrapped around her. She stared and how could she not? His blue eyes held the promise of a midnight rendezvous as they roved over her. The corner of his lips lifted knowingly.

Speak, Sammy, speak. Act normal.

“Nice to meet you, Mr. Beaufort.” Her voice came out thin and breathless, worse than a star-struck teen.

“You must call me Christopher.”

She nodded and his smile widened, flashing the tips of his fangs, reminding her of his paranormality.
