#MidWeek Tease: A Dragon's Heart, A Demon's Blood #paranormal #dragons #demons

Happy Wednesday, lovelies!

Today I'm sharing a snippet from my paranormal erotic romance, A Dragon's Heart, A Demon's Blood. Adrian Ormonde, the hero, is one of my favorite bad boys. <3

A Dragon's Heart, A Demon's Blood

Picture

He is a shadow in the dark, smelling your scent and sensing your fear...

Legendary bounty hunter Adrian Ormonde is no ordinary man. His life is filled with secrets and questions, blood and lust. His only concern for 150 years has been survival and discovering the truth behind his demon-dragon nature.
Until he meets his new assignment: Victoria Green.

Victoria Green has felt eyes watching her every move ever since she can remember. Then, Adrian appears. The eyes vanish but new dangers arise as she falls for the mysterious hunter. Cast into an ancient conflict between dragons and demons, Victoria must trust Adrian’s skill to be enough to protect her from both the outside world and that which grows within her.

Chance brought them together but will love and passion be enough to keep them joined? Or will the other forces at play in the dragon-demon worlds destroy them forever?

In this tease, Adrian has just come back from a midnight swim. He is trying to avoid Victoria, the heroine but...

She smells human, but you felt something in her when you saw her, something you couldn’t quite pinpoint.

He rolled his neck, trying to shut up the voices in his head. He fucking thought too much. Adrian stepped inside the house, trying to be as quiet as possible. Hopefully, the woman would be asleep and he’d sneak unnoticed into his old bedroom and don some trousers without her seeing him.

PictureQuietly slipping into the room, he tiptoed past the couch. He had almost made it to the door when a barely audible whimper reached his ears. He turned instinctively, thinking her in pain. His eyes widened as he realized what he was seeing. Adrian stood rooted to the spot, blood rushing to his cock at the sight. He knew he should continue on his way, but he couldn’t. Victoria lay back against the couch with her slender hand pressed to her center. Her eyes were closed in concentration, a bead of sweat forming in her brow. She’d unfastened the buttons of her shift, allowing one of her creamy breasts to slip out. The nipple was taut and teasing, exposed to his ravenous gaze. Quiet mewls passed across her lips as her fingers made quick work of her excitement, rubbing furiously over her clitoris. Her hips lifted, her legs opened and closed, her mouth parted and her eyes popped open at the low growl he was unable to hold back as she came.
“Adrian.”

She cried out his name. For God’s sake. His name burst from her lips as her walls contracted over her own fingers, coating them with her sweet cream and filling the room with the smell of her arousal. Adrian stood there, uncertainty clouding his thoughts for the first time in years. His cock wept for her pussy, a large dollop of clear liquid gleaming over the thick head. The rational part of his brain urged him to move away, but his body had other ideas. Large blue eyes regarded him expectantly, pleading him to come closer. Mesmerized, he inched toward her.

“Adrian.” His name passed her lips like a soft caress. He growled again and took in a deep breath. Her scent was overpowering, vanilla, sex, sweetness, all packed into the perfect woman before him.
“Victoria.” His voice was so husky, his throat so dry he could hardly speak. “Victoria,” he repeated.

The Guardians #8Sunday #SexySnippets #WeekendWritingWarriors #paranormal #romance #Guardians

Happy Sunday, lovelies!

This is going to be the last snippet I'm going to share from Kaila and Seamus' story for the time being. The story is now in the hands of several beta readers and I'm waiting to see what their opinion is. Hopefully, it'll be good and I'll be able to submit it. *gulp*

I've chosen as a last snippet, I kiss between these two. We've seen how much they "hate" each other, but now it's time for a little loving.

Next week, I'll start with something new.

Also as a side note, I know have an Instagram account! Feel free to follow me at elyzabethm.valey

Seamus captured her mouth. He growled as Kaila opened up to him, moaning. He deepened the kiss, boldly sliding his tongue against hers, tasting her deeply, hungrily. She responded to him instinctively. This was his mate, Kaila, his woman. She belonged with him. Always had and always would. His cock lengthened. He pulled Kaila over his lap, reveling in her whimper. Abruptly, she drew back, panting.

Wednesday Brief: Pretty Boy 8 #freeread #wednesdaybrief #writingprompt #malemale #romance #LGBT

Happy Wednesday, lovelies!

Today is a holiday here in Spain, so I'll be out and about the house in a little town called Alcala de Henares, home of Cervantes, the author of Don Quixote.

However, I couldn't miss another week of Briefs, now could I? Today, I'm continuing where we left off from the last time, when Josh was about to see his ex again. The last line was:

“Come in, Pretty boy, don’t just stand there. Did you miss me much?” Anthony said.

You can find the last chapter here.

The prompt I used this week was the picture of a diamond.

Pretty Boy8

“I-“ Josh began. He didn't know what to say. Had he missed him? Words wouldn't come to him. His hands curled into fists in his pockets. He stared at Anthony’s eyes. They sparkled like diamonds beneath the porch light.

“Yes?” Anthony prompted.

“Hi-Hi, Anthony,” Josh managed to choke out.

Anthony smirked, but had the good grace not to comment on his nervousness or his lack of response. He stood aside and beckoned Josh to enter with a sweep of his hand. Swallowing hard, Josh walked inside. The sound of the door clicking shut behind him made the hair on his neck stand. What had he been thinking? The urge to turn around and run made his palms clammy. He curled his toes, hoping that somehow that would help him stay and not look for an escape.

“Go on, Pretty Boy. You know the place. It hasn’t really changed in the past few months.”

“Thanks,” Josh mumbled.

How he was speaking was beyond him. His tongue felt thick and dry as if he’d eaten a spoonful of honey mixed with sand. Anthony barged ahead toward the kitchen area. He didn’t look back, confident that Josh would be able to find his way inside the house.

As soon as Anthony was out of sight, Josh let out a long breath. He pulled his hands from his pockets and wiped his brow. He was sweating buckets. Fuck. Anthony would have noticed and out of consideration he’d let him on his own for a bit. Josh bit his bottom lip and raised his eyes. His heart raced against his chest like horses on a track racing for the finish line. He didn’t know what he expected, perhaps more changes. If he had been Anthony, he would have remodeled the house. Out with the old and in with the new. Heck, in a way, that’s what he had done, no? He had left Anthony, moved to an apartment downtown and mated with a new man, all in the space of a few months.

Anthony, on the other hand, had hardly changed anything in the house. He’d added an umbrella holder behind the front door. It was made from a light colored wood with a darker strip across the middle. Josh inched closer. The wood was carved in the shape of tiny leaves. There were no umbrellas. He glanced to his right. The open house concept allowed him a full view of the dining room. The round mahogany table was exempt of any ornaments. Josh raked his fingers through his hair. When they had been together he’d always made sure Anthony had a fresh bouquet of flowers on the tabletop.

Josh moved further inside. He didn’t dare look to his left, well aware that was where the bedrooms were. Instead, he entered the living room. His heart jolted at the sight of the old leather chair. It was still there, looking as worn as always. He closed his eyes as memories filed through his mind: Anthony reading the flat screen’s TV instruction manual, his feet dangling from the arm of the chair; watching football games together, Josh on Anthony’s lap, running his fingers through his hair, distracting him, kissing him; making love.

“Fuck,” Josh muttered.

He dragged his gaze away from the piece of furniture. His heart skipped a beat at the sight of Anthony in the kitchen doorway, staring at him intently.

To be continued...
