 If the beautiful redhead looked out the window and saw him, she’d scream. He would. An unrecognizable sound made him jump. He looked around him, but there was no one near. His eyes widened as he realized he was chuckling, laughing to himself.  

“Laughing is good for you.” 

Simon spun around, his laughter dissipating as fast as it appeared. The child named Morgana sat on the lowest branch of a hickory tree, watching him.

Now onto the snippet. Last week Simon was being seduced by an unknown entity. I'm afraid I can't tell you who it is, now can I? That would be spoiling the surprise. So I'm going to leave you with the intrigue *Muahaha* and instead, I'm going to offer you a snippet from a scene that occurs a little after Simon sees Margaret for the first time. I wish I could make it longer but one must follow the rules.

He hadn’t even gotten close, but she’d affected him. He shook his head, his overlong hair falling over his eyes. He’d gone too many years without a woman. That had to be the reason for him being here and seeking her out, holding his breath in the vain hope to catch one glimpse of her.

He threaded his fingers through her soft red locks, moaning as she moved against him, teasing his ever growing erection. He mimicked sex with his tongue and fumbled with his clothes, eager to push inside of her, but she pulled back and stood. He growled low in his throat and fell back as she firmly pushed him onto the grass. Simon blinked, trying to see something, but the sky was dark, the moon no longer offering its comforting glow. Clouds that threatened rain, lightening, and destruction danced above him, but he couldn’t care less as his trousers slid to the floor and she grasped his member. He lifted his hips, eager for more of her caresses, eager to feel her mouth on him. 

 “Needy bear.” The voice was not Maggie’s. It was strange, screechy, desperate, but he didn’t care for he too was desperate.

Edits for Bear Heart have been sent back, so I hope to have a release date and/or cover real soon! Last week I left you with Simon meeting a young witch (you can read that here). Today, I'm going to leave you with that suspense. I've decided to bring things up a notch and give you a glimpse of  a different part of the story. A few things have happened but in these lines what you need to know is that Simon is sitting at the edge of a stream, thinking about Maggie and his hopeless existence as a bear/man. Suddenly,  he hears a voice. Creative editing has taken place to keep to guidelines.

Simon started. All that was left of the moon was an eerie glow behind a grey cloud. He moved his head from side to side, attempting to find the source of the voice, but there was no one to be seen. Unease crept over him and he made to leave the place when gentle yet firm fingers touched his shoulders, massaging the knots away. He gasped at the pleasurable sensation. His head dropped forward. Someone kneeled behind him and his cock grew hard as he recognized the feminine body.
