Weekend Writing Warriors from Entwined (Club Lobo) #BDSM #Paranormal #FreeRead

 Happy Sunday, everyone!

I can't believe I haven't participated in WeWriWa since August! Well, thinking about it carefully, I actually can believe it. September was extremely busy with the day job and I haven't written anything at all. Now that the official trimester has started, I hope to finish working on the short story I've been dragging out since before the summer. *sigh*

In any case, today I'm going to share a snippet from Entwined (Club Lobo), as the story I'm working on revolves around the same club.

Enjoy!

“Master Mason?” Diana said. “Is that the guy you saw last month?”

“Yes.”

“Shit. No wonder you think he’s intense.” Diana chuckled.

“Do you know him?” she asked.

“Who doesn’t?”

Mallory pointed at herself.

“You, obviously.” Diana grinned. “I don’t know him personally, but I’ve heard about him from Max, the guy I was scening with last month, remember? Apparently, Mason Murphy is co-owner of the club. He only comes once a month, and sorry to tell you this, girl, but he has a different flavor every time. No one ever sees him with the same woman twice.”

Mallory sighed, the cramp in her stomach surprisingly sharp.

“It’s to be expected, isn’t it? A guy like him.” She shrugged. “He can get anyone he wants.”

“Yeah, but there’s more. By all accounts, he’s also a shifter.”

Mallory Brown doesn't go home with strangers, and while she's all for a great spanking, she doesn't do BDSM relationships. Fantasizing is more her speed. And when she catches a glimpse of Master Murphy, fantasies fill her brain.

But Master Murphy has other plans. He enters her life full-steam and won't take no for an answer. While she's compelled to say yes, is she really ready to say goodbye to her world as she knows it to become permanently entwined with His?

  1. Sounds like there's definitely more to his story. One never knows the truth by rumor alone. Nice snippet!

  4. Welcome back! We've become a wee bit short of company lately.

That's quite a cover -- it makes a lot of promises to the reader, which I'm sure you'll keep.

  6. He sounds like trouble, which I'm sure makes him even more appealing.
